My favorite character is Cassie (with Adam being my second favorite), and my favorite pairing is Cassie and Adam. I know, pretty basic, eh? But earlier on, I really hated Cassie's character. It wasn't until she started to accept that she was part of the circle that I liked her. Up until that point, Faye was my favorite.

Cassie would also have to be my favorite character, followed closely by Adam, Faye, and Jake. I've always liked Cassie, but it wasn't until Episode 7 "Masked" where I really fell in love with her after seeing what she can do at the end. Watching her embrace being what she is though was also a fun development for her character that made her more exciting.

My favorite pairing would have to be Cassie and Jake (Cake), because I feel so much chemistry between them both when they share a scene together. However, I feel that same chemistry between Adam and Cassie (Cadam) too, so I guess you can color me conflicted.

By the way, just an idea for the OP. Adding an "Upcoming Events" category seems fitting. Two things that can be placed under it would be the marathon CW is holding for the show beginning Dec. 29th (LINK) and the show's return on Jan. 5th and any other upcoming dates for new episodes (i.e. Jan. 12th would be the premiere for the episode "Fire/Ice".

I suppose Super Moderators don't need to follow club rules. D:

Anyway, welcome to the club guys, and thanks for the suggestion also, it sort of built up the first post a little more.

I have to agree with you Shivi, I've started to really like the dark side coming out of Cassie, she seems a lot more stronger and scarier. Jake and Cassie make Adam and Cassie look like brother and sister, just sayin'.

    Another topic;
Who do you think the other child of Francis Balcoin is?
Due to what was said about Dawn and Francis, and suppose she could have had a fling with him and had Faye, but it still doesn't make sense to me for some reason, especially because of Faye's Chamberlain background. But yeah, looking at the Darkness summary, there seems to be some attention around Diana, and her grandmother being interested in Cassie, but i've read some stuff people have said that if Diana is the other child, Cassie and Adam might not have been written in the stars (or whatever Ethan keeps going on about) but yeah, I suppose that might not happen, but would be lovely if it were true. idk.Though I don't think we're going to find out who the other child is straight away, it'll probably be kept secret for a few more episodes.

I'm sorrrryyyyy. <bad mod> I was so excited that this group was up that I didn't read the rules! </bad mod> The lack of activity here makes me very sad. I know a lot of people here like Secret Circle so they better get their asses in gear and hop on over here.

I have three suspicions: Adam, Faye and Diana. I don't have much of a reason for Diana, but Cassie's the leader of the circle, and Diana has the complex that she's in charge even though she does it in a nice way. Adam and Cassie are written in the stars, so that makes me suspect him (like you said). And Faye's just the type of person who you can predict there's more to her. I can't really explain it since I don't have much cause for the suspicions of them.

I love this show, its so good. I never read the books, but I plan on doing so some day.

Favorite character would have to be Faye, followed by Adam and Diana. I love Faye's character and how manipulative she can be at times.

Favorite pairing would be Adam and Diana, they're perfect for eachother.
    Spoiler:

I can't wait for the new episodes.

    Welcome to the club Toshiro.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the new episodes to, especially with how long the hiatus has been. Cassie is really freaky in the promos too, what she says at the end gives me shivers. "I know it's not right but it felt really good." D:

Ok I'm finally joining this! :D

So my favourite character is Faye, I know she's a total ***** and she causes so much trouble but she's the kinda character that you can tell is going to change at some point and there's going t be some sort of heartbreaking reason why she's like that :( also Faye is just an awesome name

My favourite pairing is/was Melissa and Nick. It was so sad what happened to Nick :(

"We come to this place alone, but leave bound as one. With this oath, our journey begins together."

Secret Circle is brilliant. Hence joining.

My favourite character was Nick, but now he's been killed off (in what was a horrific way) I find I don't really have a specific favourite any more. I have different reasons to like all of them, because I think they're all pretty interesting characters.

I think Faye is possibly the child of Balcoin. We've seen the tendency in her to go towards a darker side of magic, and it would make sense to have a storyline where she is tempted by her dark powers. Or something like that at least.

    I must join this club!

    -Who is your favourite character?
Cassie is my favorite character. All the dark/black magic always intrigued me. :P

    -Which pairing is your favourite?
    Melissa x Nick

On twitter I hear people are going to try and get "The Secret Circle" and "Dark Cassie" trending worldwide today, so make sure to join in if you're on twitter! As for who the other Blackwell child is...here are my thoughts. Beware, it's a tl;dr.

    - Faye gets her Chamberlain blood from her father, Thomas Chamberlain, who's father was Henry Chamberlain. If Faye had to be the other Blackwell child then that would mean Dawn has to have some sort of Balcoin/Blackwell blood in her and her obsession with Cassie's father may not have been an attraction but more of an admiration.

    - Diana is a Meade from her father's side of the family. This is known because Charles's mother is a Meade. For Diana to be a Blackwell child then there are actually two possibilities here.

--- Kate had an affair with Samuel Blackwell, the father of John Blackwell. Therefore Charles would actually have the Balcoin bloodline in him making Diana another child of a Blackwell.

---On the other hand, Diana's mother could have had a family relationship with John Blackwell either as a sibling, cousin, or distant family member linking to the Balcoin/Blackwell family tree.

    - Melissa gets her Glaser bloodline from her mother's side of the family. The reason I figured this out is because in Episode 5, Slither, she said to Nick that she found her mother's diary and it spoke of hiding her family Book of Shadows in the forest. Now each of the six families has a Book of Shadows, therefore if the Glaser BoS belonged to Melissa's biological mother, that would mean Melissa got her Glaser bloodline from her mother's side. Meaning for Melissa to be the other Blackwell child, all that had to happen was John Blackwell had an affair with Sophie Ann Glaser (Melissa's mother) and the product of such an action was Melissa.

    - Adam, I'm pretty certain is not the other Blackwell child. Chris Zylka in an interview at the Water Project said that the only one for sure who wasn't this other child is Adam, Thomas Dekker's character.

    - As for Jake and Nick, I'm not sure where they gets their Armstrong family blood from, whether it's from their father's side or mother's side. However, I'm thinking that the writers won't go with Jake as the other child of Blackwell if they want a love triangle between him, Adam, and Cassie. Of course, I would never rule out the possibility completely.

Based on everything said here, I actually think the other child of Blackwell could possibly be Melissa, the underdog of the Circle. It wouldn't be hard to explain that John Blackwell had an affair with Melissa's mother and it would also open up a whole new interesting storyline for Melissa. And to say the least, Melissa is the least expected out of all the girls.

However, there is always the possibility that this half-sibling could be someone we just haven't met yet. Remember, the binding ritual doesn't only bind the six members together, it binds their bloodlines. Therefore, this person, if they share the Blackwell blood with Cassie is indirectly apart of the circle.

I wish to join! I totally think this is such a grouse show. My favourite character is Faye. And as for couples, I don't really ship any from TSC.

I'm too lazy right now to comment on all my thoughts about the last episode, but I'm glad to see Melissa isn't just going to start following Faye around anymore, and she'll be standing on her own two feet. I'm interested to see where this whole thing between Faye and that voodoo guy goes.

Cassie is getting seriously scary now.

This whole Cassie-Adam-Luke thing has been done before, they should make Cassie just get with Adam already : <

Twilight yo. New girl to town, falls in love with guy, then mystery hunk man of smuldering dreams appears but turns out to be bad / not on the good side.

Cassie really is getting scary. @_@
I agree that they should just put her with Adam. It seems a bit like Luke has dark magic in him too. IIRC he used magic outside the circle just like Cassie.

Maybe it could be something related to him not being directly bound to the circle, but his brother is? I know they said he is but maybe he is, but just not as closely bound as the others.

    I'm assuming you mean Jake. Luke was that guy Cassie went to the School Dance with, and later burned him alive. xD;

I'm pretty sure Jane said to Cassie on one occasion that when they bound the Circle, they bounded their bloodlines, which would explain Jake, I suppose.

LMAO. Yes, Jake. Sorry. I think I must have been tired.
I remember that, but they aren't supposed to be able to use magic on their own.
I remember Jake used magic some where. Maybe I'm crazy.

    XDDDD

Pretty big spoiler ahead. Read at your own risk!
    Spoiler:

So, how did you guys like Thursday's episode? I thought it was good, and John Blackwell being alive (or at least not dying in the fire) was pretty obvious to me from early on in the episode.
