What I saw in that mirror, had brown, catlike eyes, whiskers, and two orangey-brown cat ears staring back at me. "Gah!!! What the hell happened!?" I yelled as the ears twitched violently, and I ran away to the nurses office. it had to be an allergy or something, thats it! An allergy!

Akemi worriedly looked around. Where was the nurse? Why wasnt she here?

Ooc: I would post more, but I gotta go... Sorry, Miyu...

Paige closed her eyes and covered her ears she looked like she was in pain. "Wait!" Paige said quietly as she ran after him. "I need that mirror." Paige said raching him. She looked like she was in pain alot of pain "the mirror... may I have it back?".

I fell to my knees part of the way, setting the mirror aside. I wanted to cry, I really did, but I felt as that it was best not to. I just stared into nothingness, not even the slightest movement with my eyes. I had become, what I never wanted to become. I had become more of a freak then already had been....

I asked the student "You alright," although in a manner that belied my lack of feeling towards the matter. Quickly shoving the bookcase back into place, I snatched my weapon and headed for the armory. Although I could feel how to use the thing, it didn't quite seem right for me.

I saw the guy, well now transformed guy into a cat-like person, running outside of the library. I don't hate anyone out of usual appeareances, or like some people say, a freak. I kept staring to the door where that guy left. I walked to that door and took with me the books I was carrying. I was walking on the corridor of the nurse's office, and I found the girl that ran out of the library when the curtain myteriously fell. "are you alright?" I asked her crouching besides her. Realizing she was unconcious, I asked for the nurse to come, but she didn't. "Nurse!" I yelled trying to find her, suddenly she came from the cafeteria, "may I help you?" she asked me. I just stared at her, "wh-whe-from where do you come from?" I asked her, and she answered me, "from the cafeteria". "aren't you supposed to be always in your..." I told her, but she interrupted me before I could finish. "yea yea yea, but I was really hungry. But anyway, who may I help you?" she told me. "can you heal this girl?" I asked her, looking at the girl on the floor. The nurse took her to her office.

I was going to walk in the office too, when the book of swordmanship fell from my right hand. "oh, I didn't felt the books anymore because of so much time carrying them. I picked the book up, noticing it opened on the page that showed a strange sword. I looked at it, and decided to go outside of the academy. I ran outside, with both books in hand, and leave them besides me on the floor. I was going to practice some movements with the sword mentioned in the book. I unsheated my sword. This was going to take a while.

<OOC>Max, please improve the quality of your posts or I'llask you to leave. RM, not much. I'mm going to go pick up Artemis's classic combo, Miyu is on the way to the nurse's, and Lily's character is doing her best to wreak havoc. Otherwise, not much.<OOC>

Stopping a student in his tracks, after long hours of trying to find help. Drizzt asked the boy, "Do you know where I could find a schedule of some sort?" (Obviously Artemis, need to start they're rivalry sometime or another)

OOC: Sorry for the short post...I can't think right now. Maybe when I actually have something to type, it will be longer.

"Talk to the office" I said without thinking, not even looking at the boy at first. Only after I looked at him did I show a true intrest, saying "I watched your demonstration at the pool. You seem quite familiar with those." I gestured towards the scimitars and continued "Perhaps we could have a bit of a match. Follow me to the armory, if you wish."

If not for his modesty, he would have boasted, but he did swell with pride, all though he did well to not show it. Instead of any conceited remark, Drizzt replied, "Yeah, I consider myself decent."

Nodding at the young man's jester at the armory, Drizzt nodded, the thrill of a challenge racing through his veins, which ignited a burning fire in his emerald eyes. "Very well, I shall follow your lead," He commented as he let the stranger lead him on.

"What is your name? I do not wish to seem foolish, by not knowing who you are." Drizzt said politely. "My name is Drizzt," He said thinking best to conceal his last name for the time being, and not stopping for a bow, since they were in motion.

"Artemis" I replied offhandedly, turning down a hall to the left. The armory and training hall was a central area of the Academy, and thus, not far from any point in the Academy proper. We were there in a matter of minutes, the massive oak doors standing before us. I pushed both open quickly, smiling for the first time recently as I stepped in to a familiar world, one smelling of sweat and blood. Even though it was deserted for now you could almost hear the clatter of wooden training weapons, and, or course, for the more advanced students, the screams of steel on steel.

Knowing what Artemis wanted, his scimitars where summoned to his hands, almost as if he never even made a move to unseath them. "Well shall we start?" Drizzt asked as he waited just inside the armory.

On the verge of just wanting to attack him now, just to test his own abilities, Drizzt had to force himself into a calm and polite composure, while he waited for his new opponent to draw whatever weapon he wanted. What excited the teen even more was the thought of finally finding his equal, hoping that this young man could be his equal. Nothing could excite the experienced fighter more than a good ol' fashion fight.

"This one doesn't quite feel right" I repled, tossing the naginata aside. Moving to a wall rack, I slid the door aside and withdrew a saber and dagger. My hands were guided by instinct here, I let myself feel rather than think. Taking a few practice movements, I nodded in satisfaction at my choice and hopped up onto the eight by eight meter ring.

Nic stepped back as the bully left the place.
The kid looked hurt- and he couldn't forgive the bully for that. As he moved out of the library, Nic followed behind him.
Maybe he didn't know that he was carrying a small tracker with him, blown gently against his skin and embedded there, in the top layer of his epidermis, just above the nerves where it wouldn't hurt. Maybe he didn't care.
It didn't matter. Slowly, Nic would plot to hurt him in annoying little ways...

Returning to the library, he realised that the other kid was no longer there.

Inquiring as to the nature of his departure, Nic left the library and went to look for him- he had heard of something like that before, and having such an individual wandering around the halls, without any help, could be dangerous, if he decided to wreck havok on humanity... in fact, that could have been the reason behind the original experiment, hushed up by the authorities...

Drizzt strode into the ring, his muscles twitching with anticipation and excitement. "First one to step out of the ring, or submit," Drizzt declared waiting for Artemis's aproval of the terms before beginning the match. Drizzt thought that his own weapon choice of twin scimitars was odd, but seeing the boys choice, made his weary of any advantage that Artemis might have with the weapons.

As he waited, Drizzt went through the thousands of choices of technquie available and weighing the pros and cons of each strategy, until he found one he liked. With a smirk he waited as Artemis agreed to the terms stated, meanwhile preparing himself to make the first move, or parry the first.

Paige snatched the mirror back and put it around her neck. "It is not bad that you are a cat." paige said quietly. "You will always be the same on the inside and people here don't care about appearences. Also you are much less freaky than me!" Paige said with a weak smile. She looked sad yet happy.

Saphira sighed, leaning against the side of a wall, watching the others. Her face was expressionless, though thoughts bounced around in her mind.

Akemi sighed with relief when the nurse walked in. "This girl was just unconsious on the floor, and I was about to go get you. Where had you gone?"

"The cafeteria..." She muttered, putting the girl on a small bed. Akemi walked out of the nureses office, with a look of satisfication.

Saphira grew bored after a few moments, and started walking again. She had finished her homework and assignments, practiced fighting.... now what? She hated not having any friends.

Akemi darted along the hall, humming to herself. She couldnt see anyone in front of her, because of her books.

"Hey--ow!!!" Saphira said when someone ran into her. She had a truckload of books dumped on her. "Oh, sorry!" A girlish voice said. Saphira rose from the books, looking at the girl. She frowned, but didnt speak.

"Hi, I'm Akemi!" Akemi said brightly, gathering her belongings, "But if you want to, you can call me Scarlet."

"Well, Scarlet, I suggest watching where your going, because some people arent as nice as I am." Saphira said coldly. Scarlet's smile faded a bit.

"Agreed" I replied, quickly whirling the dager into a backhand grip. I launched off, covering half the distance between us in a single spring and landing in a roll as I came around in a feint with the saber, sweeping at Drizzt's ankles.

Drizzt jumped low in the air, lifting his ankles abover Artemis's swipe. Then throwing his body weight forward, to come down in a roll.

It was his turn to attack.

Drizzt's blades became nothing but a blur as he approached Artemis, giving it his all, being cautious to parry any blow Artemis managed to strike. But not yet seeing the young man in action, he had yet to see if he pushed Artemis to hard or if he could keep up with Drizzt's fluid and mesmerizing swordplay.
