I matched each stroke perfectly, dagger and saber working in unison to slap down each attack. I said cooly "You looked better than this" as I jumped up, tucking my legs in until my feet were parallel with Drizzt's head and coming in, using the hilt of the sabver to punch at his head as I came down too far inside of an effective striking distance for his scimitars, simoultaneously slashing at his gut with the dagger.

Ooc: Charming, AD.

Ic: Saphira walked past Akemi, stepping over a book.

"Wait..." Akemi said, watching Saphira.

Saphira froze, and looked over her shoulder, raising an eyebrow. "Hmm...?"

Akemi tilted hert head slightly. "Who are you? And why are you here?" She asked sweetly, standing up.

Saphira turned around. "You sure do talk a lot." She said, "My name is Saphira, and I don't know why I'm here."

"Wow! I don't know why I'm here either!"

"Great." Saphira started walking again, leaving Akemi behind. Akemi followed, talking endlessly, but Saphira tuned her out.

ooc: The Adamant Dodger, do you mean, to be more serious? or "general" quality?

<OOC>General quality, capitilization issues, punctuation, projection of yourself into your character.<OOC>

"You're a freak. And you will always be like that!" I recalled aloud as I stood back up, clenching my fist. "The last thing my dad said to me before he went out that night with mom.... The night they ended up in a car crash...."

I began to walk away again, to the opposite end of the school. I held back my tears, as my ears twitched. What would they think of me now?

Paige stared off at him her eyes were sad and filled with tears. "I.... I am sorry" she called out to him. She slowly walked off to her dorm her ears were drooped and her tail was down. "I must of done some thing wrong" she said to herself "I really am a fool."

ooc: sorry for my ignorance, but I only don't understand the part of "projection of yourself into your character", sorry if I am disturbing too much... if you want, I can leave now.

I finally reached my dorm, it was soft greens and blacks very nature ike. I went to my bed which was like a tree, the bottom suporters were black and the top was like a small bubble of green with a small door. Paige ent inside and laid down it was a fairly large space andseemed to be comfy there were lots of pillows and blankets lots of stuffed animals too. Paige curled up and fell asleep.

"Fine," Drizzt said as he pivited out of the way and let the weapon smack of his mithril chain mail. Taking the hit left a gap in Artemis's defense, that's when Drizzt came down with the hilt of one of his scimitars and hiting him in the arm, just hard enough to escape any follow up with his other weapon.

Jumping back, Drizzt smacked his scimitars together then came in again, his left scimitar covering his chest, as his right scimitar came over head, and jabbed outward toward Artemis's head. Then pivoting his left foot outward after the slash to allow his right to freely move back behind.

OOC: Usually I do well with fighting scenes...it's hard to do it against another character, cause you have to be careful not to powerplay the whole thing. It's a delicate peice of work, that it is, to write a fight scene with another. That's why I normally just take a short cut and try not to describe the motions of my characters body. But I gave it a shot.

<OOC>A good fight scene is a delicat work at that. But I daresay we're both qualified.<OOC>

I was too close in to effectively parry, besides, I needed a few seconds to regain feeling in my arm. Insteaad, I twisted out of the way, whirling around to Drizzt's side. I threw my sword arm up to deflect any follow-ups. I hooked my dagger arm around towards his backside, hoping to catch him with the quick thrust (but doubting I would).

Again, the dagger met the mithril armor that perfectly fit his body from head to toe, not leaving any skin except for his neck. "Sorry, if you wish, I shall even the odds by removing my armor," Drizzt said jumping back far enough that he was sure that even if Artemis wanted to lunge forward, all Drizzt would have to do is parry out of way and come up with a scimitar pointed towards Artemis's chest for a final blow to end the sparring match.

So without an answer from Artemis, Drizzt removed the armor, leaving the thin cloth under to protect him. Now without his armor, Drizzt couldn't afford to be as lazy with his movements, and every move would have to count.

"Let's continue, then" I said, keeping my voice and face perfectly even. I couldn't let emotion interfere here, against someone of Drizzt's caliber that would prove fatal. This time, I decided to lit him move first.

Nic had traced his tracks to the cafetaria area.

He saw that kid at the other end, where no one was. Something seemed different about him...
Oh yes, it must be those changes, put in place by the experiment.

Nic sensed that he wanted to be left alone... but nevertheless, he moved forward, slowly and cautiously.

-Hey! You look down, what's the matter? Come on, cheer up- life can't be that bad, can it?

Drizzt cut him short of his sentences, with an even faster burrage of attacks as his scimitars whirled around in a control fashion. With the weight of his armor off his shoulders, he could attack more freely and faster than with the mail on him. Drizzt tryed his hardest not to let his opponent in for any kind of counterstrike, trying to drive Artemis out of the ring with his speed and stamina.

Saphira walked on, not hearing a word Akemi said. She just kept going, and going, and going, and going...

"So I said, 'You shouldnt....' " Saphira glared at Akemi, but she didnt notice.

Not caring where she ended up, Saphira just kept walking. She saw two boys fighting up ahead and decided to watch, so she could focus on something other than ignoring Akemi.

Realizing Drizzt's goal and noting the not inconsiderable increase in speed, I quickly realized that I couldn't simply parry here. Ever the improviser, I knocked both scimitars up high and slid between Drizzt's legs, tucking my weapons in close. He'd probablt manage to turn in time, but I'd removed his advantage and hopefully gained one of my own. I lashed out with my foot to keep him busy until I could stand.

Drizzt stopped his foot with a well planted leg and then came down with his scimitars, increasing the speed. There was no doubt in Drizzt's mind that Artemis would block and try and gain an advantage, so he was ready for whatever Artemis had enstore for him. Then he saw another another advantage and in a cross and trapped the leg and his hands in the gap. Then he swung his legs up and tryed to kick him in the head, all his weight on his scimitars, realizing he was leaving himself open, but he had to take the risk.

There really wasn't any way to block or dodge, I might as well take the hit and trade it for another. Accepting the blow (controlling the damage with the dagger as best I could), I punched out, connecting solidly with Drizzt's eye.

Adrian woke up, blinking away the red spots in her eyes.

She noticed one thing. She was hungry. That was the only thought that drove her out of her bed, out of the room.

She walked down, thinking about who to strike for her first target...

((OOC - Mwahaha... >=) ))
