nice moveset rene
but may i suggest instead of thunder fang, ice fang to counter ground pokes
Thanks and I think Ice Fang is a good physical move for Luxray to attack Ground Pokemons.

no problem
always happy to help

Apart from the fact then you are relying on Luxray's Discharge for STAB attacking. And that being a special attack is going to FAIL.

Moveset for Luxray is the one I posted on the last page. Combined with Adamant, Rivalry and Life Orb or Choice Band.

Okay, I understand. Is Luxray's Discharge a special attack? I thought it was a physical move.

Yeah, Discharge is a Special move in D/P so that's not so good with Luxray's lower Special Attack.

Most of Luxray's attacks are physical.

I see and so Luxray's Discharge is a special move, not a physical move. I guess wrongly.

how cool
i just found a shinx figure XD

Nice Shinx picture, ShinyGold2. I will post the next topic now. Here it is:
Do you think Luxray should be used in gym battles or Elite Four battles?
I will answer it later.

~Rene~ :t025:

it can be a very effective pokemon to use in some parts of the elite 4
Rain Dance + Thunder can take out many of aarons bug pokemon, cynthias milotic and (for me) spiritomb, and ice fang can make short work of many of berthas pokemon (as long as it gets the 1st hit)it even helps against cynthias roserade

as long as there is a good team behin it to back it up it is a fine to use in E4

may I join and Luxray did help me with a lot of Pokemon in the Pokemon League KOing, Drifblim, Milotic, and Aaron's crew.

I think Gym,the Elite Four is kind of strong for it..........

Gyms? Yeah, but I didn't use mine in the Elite Four much at all. I used it against the Tycoon Palmer, though.

Rain Dance and Thunder actually isn't as good on Luxray. Simply because of it's lower special attack.
If combos are to be made, even Charge + Spark would do more damage with Luxray's high Atk stat.

It's handy in the E4. Gyms are a bit harder..

Welcomes and adds~

Thanks Alex
does charge work with discharge as well as spark

I actually have a Luxray with nearly as high Attack as Special Attack on one version.

I'm sorry I haven't been in here,I can't find the subscription DD:

I think as Rene said: Ice fang is a good move

But, I ce Fang is uh, Special? I don't know if Luxray's attack point is: Atk. or SP.ATK.

Ice Fang is Attack and Luxray's strong point is also Attack

Ice Fang is Attack and Luxray's strong point is also Attack
Isn't Ice Fang special? Now I'm confused, 3rd Gen Ice + Special, So ATK is Luxray's main point huh? hmm...

All the elemential fang moves are physical, same as the elemential punches
