Playing with a stall team is according to me very difficult this generation, you do have a lot more options but the amount of threats you have to counter is just too much. I made this team long ago and have changed it around a lot. Most mons in it seem irreplaceable to me and yet there are threats like mega medicham that i cannot check. The xy ou tier itself seems a bit shaky to me now but i try my best.

I don't use spikes mainly because that kind of opportunity is extremely rare in a ho infested ladder, and besides i don't really need it. chansey is like the glue to the team and helps me effectively switch on and on.i don't have wish support but other than heatran everyone has their ways of recovering health. most of the times the first 20 turns go in just switching on and on to tire the opponent and wait for a good prediction and then hard stall him. things like aegi and any op wall breaker is able to rek me hard but i find a way around it most of the time.

Anyway lets go to the team~

Mega Venusaur > Gourgeist. While you lose out on the utility of Frisk, Mega Venusaur packs more general bulk and offensive presence. It still shares synergy with Heatran. If you want a Frisk user that still discourages most offensive mons, use Mega Banette (though the Frisk is one-time only, as Banette generally Mega Evolves ASAP):

    Venusaur:
    -Giga Drain
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Leech Seed/Earthquake/Knock Off
    -Synthesis
    Nature: Bold/Relaxed
    EVs: 252 HP/240 Def/16 Spe
    Item: Venusaurite

    Banette:
    -Knock Off
    -Taunt
    -Protect/Will-o-Wisp
    -Destiny Bond
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 124 HP/252 Atk/132 Spe
    Item: Banettite
    Ability: Frisk

Change Heatran's spread to 248 HP/220 SDef/40 Spe. This lets Heatran outspeed 132 Speed Mega Mawile, a Pokemon it can check/counter well (assuming it lacks Focus Punch). You can also consider squeezing in Toxic or Will-o-Wisp somewhere for more opportunities of statusing opponents instead of fishing for one with Lava Plume.

Here's a more efficient spread for Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 252 Atk/236 SDef/20 Spe. This gives it better special bulk to take special hits with:

    Ex:
    252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 273-322 (65.9 - 77.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 0 HP / 236 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 203-242 (57.8 - 68.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

While you're still 2HKOed by Extrasensory with the second spread, you take less damage from it in that case.

What's the point of Zapdos having a Modest nature if its Special Attack isn't invested in at all? Change the EV spread to 248 HP/168 Def/68 SAtk/20 Spe; this lets Zapdos get the guaranteed OHKO on Mega Pinsir with Thunderbolt, something your current spread fails to do.

Looks decent but I think it's a bit passive for a stall team. As Platdude said I think mega venusaur over Gourgeist is a good place to start. You don't have a mega slot and Mega Venusaur's a better wall with more reliable recovery. It's probably the best use of a mega slot on most stall teams and will greatly increase your teams utility and general ability to win.

    Venusaur (M) @ Venusaurite
    Ability: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SDef
    Relaxed Nature
    - Synthesis
    - Giga Drain
    - Earthquake
    - Sludge Bomb

You can obviously change up the spread or throw leech seed on there or whatever, anyways on to other changes. I think you could ditch SR on chansey and put it on heatran over earth power, freeing up a slot for Wish or Toxic, to support the team better, although its up to you since chansey gets a lot of SR opportunities, it's just that Heatran doesn't really need roar too much in gen 6 nor earth power since you don't hit a ton of stuff that the rest of the team doesn't beat, and most of the threats you needed to roar out last gen are gone [plus you dont have many hazards]. Assault vest Conkeldurr doesn't do a whole ton for stall teams honestly and is more suited as a utility poke for offense, I think you might want to replace it with a quagsire since it's a stellar poke this gen and gives you another physical wall to prevent anyone breaking you. I don't think you need to be worried about bisharp as you have poison heal gliscor which 'beats' knock off as long as its activated, unless you need to heal venu really badly with heal bell.

    Quagsire (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Unaware
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
    Relaxed Nature
    - Toxic
    - Scald
    - Earthquake
    - Recover

    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Toxic

Why the 0 Attack IVs? Of course, it's understandable that you want to reduce Foul Play/confusion damage, but Quagsire is currently using a physical attack; if it has a 0 Attack IV in that case, Earthquake will be weakened.

The problem with removing conkelldurr is that opposing chansey becomes extremely difficult to take down. Mega venusaur is a good option, I will probably give heat ran wow over earth power.
Why do you call roar not as effective? Set up sweepers are still running amuck, cm clef,cp stuff etc etc.

I didnt have a quag team so i just cpd it from an rmt that had haze over eq and changed it. Thanks for catching this, you're right that the OP shouldnt run 0.
