I hate it when I find a site with good pictures, then you can't find it again. It's really annoying. <_<

On my first playthrough that battle was easy... but on my second playthrough, I had the opposite problem you had. O_o; The dragons first went after all the AI so they all ended up dying on me, and of course I had no life bottles or anything left since I had forgotten to go and get some after my previous fight. <<; I was stuck fighting the entire battle with just Lloyd... and I actually won. I was so shocked at that. XD

I haven't played ToS in soooo long. ;_; *is having withdrawl*

Blaah..this is hard. I need to re-adjust to the GCN controllers. I've been spending my time on the PS2. I love this linear battle system. They should apply it to Pokemon!!!

The AI is stupid anyway: Zelos' battle AI for example. If I disable any of his techs, during a battle, he'll just run up to something, whack it once or twice with a normal strike then run away and stand there for a few seconds before repeating the same cycle. He's the only AI I have issues with. All the others work fine with certain techs disabled.

I've had that problem...I can never set Zelos's AI to use spell and physical magic equally...one always has the highest priority to the other...

Me likes the pic, Simon. Raine looks uber sexy...
 
YOU HAVE THE PS2 VERSION OMG.

My Zelos will mostly do close range attacks, but he'll bust out an Eruption or Grave every once in awhile. Kratos never does unless I set his AI to. <_<

The dumbest AI on mine is Colette... Seriously. She just runs around like "para b0llz". Sometimes she'll use something like Ring Whirlwind and be like twenty feet from the target. Sometimes I wonder what the heck she's doing, it's like she's attacking an invisible enemy.

The weird thing is, whenever I have Lloyd, Colette, and Sheena battling together... Colette seems to become all good. It's like she's jealous of Sheena or something. o_o

And even though I don't like Kratos x Raine, I DO like that picture. XD

I don't have the PS2 version...I just said I've been playing my PS2.

I forgot how I set my fighters' Strategies. I use Lloyd, Zelos, Presea, and Sheena. Zelos only rarely ever uses any spells. I only have him use them during a Unison Attack with Presea. Eurption plus one of Presea's attacks. I forgot what it was called but Presea spins her axe at the target while Zelos uses Eruption.

I avoid using Colette. If she has to be in the battle, I set her to stay back and out of the battle. I don't have much use for Sheena other than her summons. I've disabled all but Origin and Maxwell.

T_T; I attempted playing ToS again yesterday. Then my dad went evil. He asked for help on the computer. So, I came up here, and then he went downstairs and stole the TV! WTF?

My party is usually Lloyd, Shena, Zelos, and Raine. It's unique, but I think it's affective...

OMG, my Colette does that too. She fights nothing most of the time. It's like wtf are you doing? <<; But I never use her unless I have to anyway. I dunno about the Lloyd, Sheena, Colette thing though... I've never really payed attention to it before. O_o;

My AI Raine is pretty stupid sometimes too... she always uses healing circle and hits no one or, like Evelina said, revitalize when a nurse would suffice. Most of the time her healing arts end up benefitting nobody. It's so annoying. ><;

As for parties... I usually use Lloyd (since he's pretty much the only one I'm good at using...), Raine, Genis or Sheena, and Kratos/Zelos.
 
I used to have problems with Colette, until I found a way to set her up where she's close enough to unleash fury but far enough not to get her but handed to her. Believe it or not, she's become one of my most useful characters when going on the attack. Sometimes, I decide to play as her. I really kick butt with the Ray Thrust, Para Ball, Triple Ray Satellite/Whirlwind Rush combo.
 
*nods* I forgot all about Raine in battles. I also avoid putting her into a battle unless I'm using her. And I haven't used her since my first playthrough. I just stay back and let the AI fight while I toss healing spells everywhere. That's how I beat Abyssion and all those other Underworld bosses the first time I fought them.

Okay, this is weird, I don't have much of a problem with Raine either. She uses a mix of support and healing spells, and they are usually reasonable...although she does use Revitalize a little bit too much...maybe I'm good at tactics, maybe I've got good luck, I don't know...

Typical Battle of Erica's Raine (often a boss)
Everyone is dying. Raine casts Photon. Someone's dead. Raine casts Revitalize. Raine runs up to enemy and hits it. Raine dies. Life bottle used on other player. Life bottle used on Raine. Everyone is dying. Raine runs back, away from everyone else. Raine casts Healing Circle on herself. Raine runs out of the circle. No one is healed. Lightning gives up and calls her brother to play as Raine so she's useful.

<_< And don't even get me started on Kratos' AI.
 
Whoops, my mistake about the PS2 thing. ^^

When Colette is around Sheena and Lloyd, she seems to do REALLY well. It's odd. o_o

I try playing as Colette myself, but Chakrams... Blech. They're annoying. I don't like her moveset all that much... Eh, I just don't like Colette in general. =0

The only problem I have with Raine is who she heals. Sometimes she's the only one who needs to be healed and she'll use it on someone who hasn't even gotten hit. I remember recently against Yuan and Botta. Lloyd, Sheena, and Presea were all about to die and she's close to full health, then she goes and uses a Healing Circle on herself. And she does tend to randomly run up to the enemy and try and bonks enemies with her staff... And it's always against the bosses too, so she gets killed the most.

Genis does that too, but he mostly stays in the background. He'll only run up to the enemy when he's kinda out of TP, which warns me he needs a gel because I don't really pay attention. But him (and Raine) will just sit there when an enemy runs up to them and starts attacking them. Sometimes I find myself going "RUN YOU MORON" at Genis and Raine because they just say "Ow!!!" and try casting again. I thought they were the SMART ones.

Oh yeah, Regal isn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. Or Menorah or whatever the Kwanzaa thingamajig is (sad I don't know what that is seeing as I'm black XD). Then again, I kinda forget Regal is there sometimes... His attacks are so unamazing and... dull. "EAGLE DROP SPIN KICK!!!11!" And Healer has to be the most useless move ever created. And the guy doesn't even have a Unison Attack... Geez Regal is worthless, should have dumped him then had Kratos AND Zelos at the same time. He has a pretty cool UA with Lloyd in the PS2 version though. I hate Japan and their Japanese only stuff. <__<

My Kratos and Zelos AI are pretty darn smart. They always know what to do. :D

Presea seems to get hit A LOT, but she somehow manages to always stay alive. I don't know how she does it, enemies flock to her like a female snake in heat. o_o

Sheena just runs up to the enemy, combos the mess out of them, and blocks attacks. She's pretty smart overall, but not as powerful as Zelos/Kratos.

My party is normally... Actually, it's just whatever I want it to be. It's always changing. I've had Presea in my party a lot lately though.

And would anyone happen to know where I can find summaries for the manga? I tried searching and all I got was "WTF there's a manga on ToS where do I get it?!!" and El Paso doesn't know the term manga... Except this one girl who seems to find a ton at Barnes & Nobles, but when I go there it's gone. I miss her and her brother, they were like the only people who watched anime and knew what manga was, too bad we went to different high schools. Liking anime and being a girl is "weird". ;_;

Lmao @ Erica. You're not alone... Raine does that to me all the time too. XD Especially the healing circle thing. Although, I'm stuck with her like fighting like that since I don't trust my sister enough to let her fight in my games. She'd probably be a worse Raine than the AI one. ><;

I can't recall any real issues with Kratos's AI though. O_o;
 
A girl liking anime is weird? o.O; That's strange... most people I know like anime. xD

Lol Erica. xD Well... sometimes when an AI dies, my brother uses Life Bottle... and after that character is alive again, Raine or Sheena attempts to get them alive again... when they're already alive. xD

Rest of the time though, Raine is pretty smart. xD;
