It's finally here!

The Three Broomsticks!

This will be the first Harry Potter Website I webmastered. I have created a splash in Flash MX and also some images from Photoshop.

Yeah, there isn't a huge reason for a second thread, but none the less its not a bad site. It could use some work. But that comes with time.

Some things i made suggest you shiould fix are - the Splash, is to.. Well Its not the best.. and the colours don't really suite. Also, the top banner doesn't really show well.

You shouldn't have a flash intro, they take too long to load and I know a lot of people don't like them. Apart from that... It's OK, but the banner needs some work.

hehe yep, basically what i said. Its ok to have a flash splash.. as long as its small and it doesn't take long to load on even 28.8k. I would just go the image.

The size of the flash intro is just 198k which isn't that much for 56k. It loads in a mere 20 sec. Probally 2 times more with a 28.8k but hardly anyone use those anymore. ^_^

The banner needs to be fixed up a bit.

They still exist, so the "Skip Intro" is defiantly welcome.

*is on the computer with flash installed* Meh... the intro is okay... but the text alignment isn't all that well done. =/

*notes 20sec loading time* That's optimal, it'll more likely be 30-40 seconds (depending on what else is happening). And remember, surveys show that people are very likely to go away from sites that take more than 10-15 seconds to load...
