Yellow Bug Monotype
- I did the beginning stuff, and bought some Pokeballs.
- Caught Caterpie in Viridian Forest, and raised it to level 10 before continuing.
- Solo'd every Bug Trainer with Confusion, and was level 13 before fighting Brock.

- I got through Route 3, caught a Paras in Mt. Moon, trained, and arrived in Cerulean City.
- Beat Gary and Nugget Bridge, caught Venonat on Route 24, and got the S.S. Anne ticket from bill.
- Went to Vermilion City and trained on the Routes surrounding it, while beating every trainer.
- Went back to Cerulean City, and solo'd misty with Parasect.

- I went through Route 9 and Rock Tunnel, beat every trainer on the way, and made it to Lavender Town.
- I trained on the Routes east and west of Saffron. After I got to Celadon City, I got the Water and gave it to the guard.
- I played the slots for a while and eventually got Pinsir and Scyther.
- I trained them and did the Rocket Hideout, then beat Erika.

- I did the Pokemon Tower stuff, and trained a little.
- I went through the routes south of Lavender Town and got to Fuschia City.
- I went through Cycle Road and trained a while before challengeing Koga.
- Trained everyone to level 49 before fighting him.
- I solo'd Koga with Venomoth, he gave a little bit of trouble, but not much.

- I flew to Pallet Town, surfed south, and got to Cinnibar Island.
- I surfed to Seafoam Islands, beat all trainers in my way, and did the same on the Fuschia side.
- I flew back to Cinnibar, and did the Mansion stuff, trained a while, then beat Blaine, mostly with Pinsir.

- I had no trouble at all against them, it was actually very easy, Scyther's Slash was really helpful.

Well, I'm getting pretty far so I might as well update:

- Named myself Ethan and chose Totodile for more of a challenge with Rival(Meganium)
- Named rival Silver
- Mopped up Sprout Tower and Violet Gym
- Caught Marie(Mareep) and benched Totodile
- Cleared Slowpoke Well and Azalea Gym
- Made it to Goldenrod and DESTROYED Whitney
- Talked to Bill in Ecruteak then went and got Shock You!(Eevee)
- Made Eevee into Jolteon then caught Screw Ball(Magnemite)
- Went to Olivine for the Good Rod, then went and caught WooFakFak(Chinchou)
- Went back and beat Morty and grabbed Surf
- Skipped over to Mahogany and cleared the Rocket Hideout
- Picked up Demoman(Electrode)

Alright, now it's time to pay Chuck a little visit :)

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I just have been very busy :( Anyway I have a new update on my progress in my steel challenge. I have also decided that I will allow myself to get an onix but not allow myself to evolve it until after I find the metal coat (which I can find after I beat the elite four once as in fire red you have additional story after the elite four and they are rematchable with increased levels and new pokemon so for me to finish fire red I have to beat them a second time.

What I do is what most people do. I think everyone is supposed to make a new post when they update if they're not the last poster. If you keep just updating your original post, nobody will see your progress. That's the point of these challenge threads(I think), is for people to do challenges and post their progress so everyone can see.

EDIT:
I started Platinum, I started with Turtwig, I solo'd with Turtwig until I got some Honey in Floaroma Meadow before the fight with Mars, and caught my four first members, Combee(female), and three Burmys(all female).
I evolved the three Burmys to where they evolve into the different forms, and evolved Combee too. I beat Mars and trained while on my way to Eterna City, I beat Gardenia, then saved after healing.
