Well on my ruby version I used one for my team, as well as a magcargo, but that might just be because I like picking pokemon no one else likes ^^

How about masquerain?

Anorith...that's the one I wanted to say. I use a shiny Armaldo now for that one reason; it's VERY forgotten. Aactually, not really...the Hoenn fossils weren't that popular in their time, let alone now.

In other words, aren't anyones favorites.

I don't think anyone really likes any of the manmade pokemon(ie magnemite/magneton, voltorb/electrode, porygon/porygon 2)

The unknown.

And maybe some of the weirder ones, like Dugtrio, Xatu, Medicham, Wiscash, Luvdisc.

I like Electrode, Magneton, and the Porygon line. I got my Porygon-Z to level 99. That thing is awesome. It knows Signal Beam, Psychic, Tri Attack, and Zap Cannon. I love my Porygon-Z. I use it in Platinum. I beat Maylene with it as well as the Elite Four. I'm using Electrode in LeafGreen. It is awesome. I traded my Raichu for it in Cinnabar. Explosion is a good attack. I used it at 2HP. It made Lorelai's Lapras faint. I beat the Cute Contest with Whiscash. I like Xatu and I hope to use it in HG/SS. I'm planning on using Medicham in my next play through of Diamond. (After I beat it with my current team.) I've used Luvdisc before and I usually use Dugtrio to beat Lieutenant Surge in Vermilion.

I don't think anyone is a Whismur fan or a Makuhita fan. I don't know. I'm probably wrong. There's a lot of Pokemon I like.

There's actually three I can think of on the top of my head... Porygon, Porygon2, and Porygon-Z. Porygon became Pikachu's scapegoat when it was needed to, and how does it get re-payed?

Pikachu should of been banned from the Anime, with Porygon as Ash's main pokémon. :'(

And Porygon2 is, well even though it's not fully evolved, it's FIVE times more useful then Heatran and Lucario will ever be. As the seasons went by, Porygon2 became the only previous generation Poke to NEVER appear in the anime. Why, you ask? CAUSE OF THAT DARNED RAT!

People underestimate how powerful Crobat and Tentacruel are because of how common and annoying their basic forms are at sea or in a cave, but I still love these guys. :'(

I think the most outright forgotten pokemon are Shuckle, Qwilfish, Octillery, and Breloom.

I hear a lot about Shuckle mostly for competitive teams though. Also I hear Octillery mentioned all the time.

Oh yea, now you mentioned Octillery - That used to be one of my favourites back when I played Silver version on my Gameboy Color, I'd completely forgotten about it!

Anyway, I'll have to agree with Templekeeper - Exploud is pretty neglected for such a decent fully-evolved Pokémon. It's not that bad, eh?
What about the cocoon bugs? Kakuna, Metapod, Cascoon and Silcoon? Being so useless can't earn you that many fans..

I love Tentacool and Tentacruel! In fact... i love all those pokemon you mentioned! I decided to do a Poison type challange for G\S\C. I thought it was going to be hard but Tentacruel was a tank! In my game it swept 3/4ths of the elite four! (used Crobat for Koga)
Tentacruel beats the elite four using these moves:
Tentacruel Item: Nevermeltice
Moves:
Barrier
Surf
Icywind
Sludge bomb.
lol Lance never had a chance against my Cuenta!

well any ways i never liked castform. it may be useful if you want to set up a different weather situation, but it really wasn't that great.

I keep forgetting that it's actually a pokemon. In fact, I keep forgetting it exists. :P

And if you want to go further, then I think new evolution pokemon such as Probopass and Tangrowth recieve NO LOVE AT ALL!
