Appearance: Bout 5"4 , 120 pounds, Fairly Athletic build. Eyes as black as coals, he has a slightly pale skin tone. He Had black hair, but dyed it Blue giving a dark blue/steel blue effect though its not as visible under his fedora(western style hat, Dark Blue with a lighter blue band.)
Wears matching black shirt and pants with a blue vest top with matching blue Boots, also wears a black belt with gold buckle which has a rope attached, Has A Blue Backpack.
Personality: Likes the colour blue, Is a fun-loving easygoing kind of guy Unfortunatly is extremely stubborn when it comes to those in need and sometimes that cost him dearly very knowlegdeable Knows much in the ways of science and pokemon physioligy.
Background: He Began His Journey when he was ten, He was a gifted student And a technological wiz, He spent years working alongside Proffesor duccard at his lab back in the rural moutian town that he lived in.
Learning all about the pokemon and the technology to heal them. He traveled to many places studying pokemon and the technology that was used like pokeballs, healing machines, even the PPS (pokemon storage system) the pokemon "curfew" as he calls it came into effct when he was 15, He Grabbed his custom pokeballs he had been working on and ran off into the night with his pupitar and cyndaquil, during his 5 years of travel he has learned many things, to survive, both of his pokemon had evolved, he changed his look.
He finished work on his prototype pokeball system (which healed a mall portion of health when recalled to the pokeball, thou he couldnt get it to continuously heal, the way he wanted he was attempting to develop a pokemon Healing machine essentially in the pokeballs) and now... well you'll see soon enough.....
Additional Information: Uses A unique Custom Pokeball (Dark Blue Ball, Black Stripe, the ball also has a base healing property whisch restores some minor health when recalled unless fainted)

RP Sample: Luca's Rescue:
It was a night like any other cold,dark, the winds as unforgiving as those who hunt him, Kez had lost his pursueors umong the various cliffs around the Katsu region.After finally having a chance to rest he quickly obtained some wood from the nearby trees. " Rocky" Kez said Launching his pokeball into the air And releasing his tyranitar. "see if you can find us Shelter" the bold pokemon responded at once thrashing into the side of the cliff slowly chunking away the lower rock to create a small cave.

"Good Work Rocky!" Kez exclaimed examining the cave "but were not done yet" He moved his things and the chunks of wood into the cave "Rocky use rockslide" The pokemon did as obliged sealing them behind a wall of rock . Then Rocky punched some of the rocks loose, just enough to let the air in and keep the wall up. " well done rocky you deserve to rest" Kez said returning the Gargantuan to its pokeball.

"Come on Out Flare!" Kez cried as he threw a second pokeball into the air and out came his most elegant Pokemon. Flare is a quilave with a most unusual flame which happens to Burn Blue. Flare stood elegantly eagerly awating its masters command. "Use dig to create a small hole and when i say use flamethrower" with amazing speed Flare had dug a hole 30cm in diamiter and awited kez's signal. Throwing the wood into the hole Kez gave the signal and the most beautiful blue Stream of fire erupted from Flare's mouth. Together they had done it, they had a place to stay, they were warm and no-one would find them with this thought in his mind Kez went to sleep.

Kez awoke to the crys of pokemon who were in anguish , in pain.... Utilizing Rocky's strength the broke out of their make shift shelter to see a family of Lucarios' and ariolu trying to escape a Pokemon extermination squad. He had to act fast Releasing both Rocky and Flare He Called to them both " Rocky protect the lucarios', Flare get the riolu" as he ran fist-first into one of the Squad. Flare moved fast and picked up the young one in its mouth running as fast as it could to get safe, Rocky made his way to the lucarios' as fast as he could...However Kez Had been surrounded by three of the soldiers.

They had began to strike Kez trying to find his pokeballs to stop Rocky and Flare, Kez didnt say anything, everytime they hit him he hit them back, but it was three on one.. Then Kez looked up and He saw rocky.." No.. No "he thought "Rocky dont do this" ...

"Rocky save them, Save the pokemon!" Kez called out in vain as he could see rocky charging to free his master and oldest friend. Rocky threw one of the soldiers by his head into the side of the cliff, upon seeing this the other soldiers attacking kez fled they knew they were no match for rocky. Though Kez had been freed the lucarios paid the ultimate price, 2 soldiers had remained to exterminate the "menace" as they called them....
Seeing this Kez snapped "Rocky Hit them with Hyperbeam NOW!!", Rocky found his mark The Soldiers were gone blasted miles away but it was too late for the lucarios' the only survivor was safely returning in Flare's care. Kez was wrought with pain, He had failed to protect the lucarios, he attacked another human being out of anger, using his pokemon to do it. "Rocky and Flare arent tools for war" he thought "But if we dont fight they could be next."

Confused and Sheding tears for the fallen lucario, he fell to his knees. Kez was at a loss he had no idea which way to turn, Flare had just returned and placed the young Riolu at Kez's feet.."why am i crying? this dear pokemon has lost everything yet it sheds no tears, maybe it doesnt understand what has happened, maybe it does or maybe it has realised that there are bigger things going on here?" Snapping out of His confusion Kez faced the little Riolu " To honor your family i shall call you Luca" he offered out one of his spare pokeballs to the Riolu... "I'll keep you safe.. I Promise" The Riolu walked up and tapped the ball whether it was curiousioty that he joined kez or whether He just wanted to come along, Luca would now be safe wih Kez

Personality: Normally a fairly calm pokemon..however if someone he cares about or knows well is in trouble rational thinking is thrown to the wind, his compassion is so strong, he will openly and willingly defy Kez if he sees fit.
History: He was caught back as a larvitar in the rural mountain town of Kez's birth by when Kez had first developed his first pokeball system. the pokeball has been upgraded to meet the current standards.

Nickname: Flare
Breed: Quilava
Gender: Male
Moves: Tackle, Flame wheel, Dig (from Tm), Flamethrower
Appearance: Blue Flame (like Shiny Ponyta)
Personality: Very Regal in attitude, only when there's danger do you see a link between Kez and Flare, he can be rash at times but normally focuses on the task at hand, helps to raise Luca
History: Was Obtained by Kez During a trining exercise, he was training with pupitar and the rare blue flamed cyndaquil fell out of a nearby cave they battled and Kez caught him.

Nickname: Luca (in honour of its fallen Brethren)
Breed: Riolu
Gender: Male
Moves: Force Palm, Personality: Exceptionally calm nature, things do not affect this young pokemon as one would think,Kez and Flare look after this pokemon with all their heart and it seems to like them too, only time will tell....
History: Recently Saved from a Pokemon Extermination Squad

do you want to be an old member of the Uprising who is sent to Frosty Gorge and turns on PXS when he gets there and rejoins them,

join after the time-break as someone from a region they go to,

I don't know if Ashi would be giving up Lone anytime soon. She was the only one that survived other than Twili and Sola. XD THIS IS GOING TO BE EXCITING.

I look forward to rping with you also... As for the time break, that is going to happen after the huge fight in Frosty gorge, after this all the people involved will go off into different regions, and then come back somewhere around five years later, or so i've been told.. Basically it's just letting your character mature any maybe to bring back a new pokemon with you.

Name: Ed Marvic Pär Åke (just say Vic, or Marc)

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance:

He is a pretty normal guy, he hasn't a muscular body and isn't fat, but he is really small, just 1,40 meter. When you look closer, you can see that he has pretty much scars. One of them, a very big scar above is left eye, glows slightly red and makes him look pretty scary. His eyes are sharp contoured, what makes him even more scary in the night, and he has long (until his shoulders) dark blond hair. He walks very quietly. his eyes have a submarineblue color. (blue-green, like seaplants) Also, when he fled from his "parents" he lost two fingers at an very sharp edge of an window.
His Hairs are brown and his skin is light. He always wears blue clothes that are filled with woll to keep him warm. He has brown boots and withe gloves.

Personality:

When there are humans are nearby, he is very shy. Sometimes he just goes away very quietly, so nobody gets to know that he was there. When he talks with friends, however, he forgets a bit of his shyness and often has good plans. But only when he is alone with Pokémon he shows his true nature: he can be pretty assured. He has actually some bonds with his Pokémon.
He has a long temper; But when he loses his temper you would know it straightaway: he gets red all over his face. Normally he is a thoughtful person, but when he gets angry, he forgets all his plans and wants to fight. Because of that he has (and actually had) only a couple of friends.
He is both street- and book-smart, because he lived in the forest and in an orphanage, but studied later Poke-breeding.
Background:

Vic was born in an snowy and icy village, nearby Frosty Gorge, in Katsu. His parents hadn't got enough money, so when he was two, his parents got rid of him. They carried him in the forest, and there did they leave him. An Ampharos, who had at that moment own children, took him to an old woman outside the city. She raised him, and until he was seven, he was very happy, and played in the woods with the pokemon. But when he was seven he came close to the city where he was recognised. He was brought to an orphanage where he got his name. There he lived three years. He wasn't happy there; Sure, he had enough to eat, but the staff wasn't nice. He tried to escape, but after one year they found him, hiding as a student in a poke-breeding school. They brought him back. He was adopted an half-year later, because he looked so childish (It's a matter of fact that young children are liked most), and he completed the breeding-school with an B+ and got to his old "home", in the forest. There he found the Ampharos that brought him to the old woman, with very bad injuries and a child. The Ampharos died and Vic took the baby with him to raise it. As he wanted to go away, a Wooper came after him. It was a friend of the Mareep, or so it seemed, so Marc took him also with him. Then the new rule came, and his parents reported him after he denied to give away his Pokémon. He ran away and lived since then in the icy woods around Frosty Gorge.

RP Sample (Actually a prologue.):

It was cold when Vic was walking through the streets.
Not that it wasn't always cold, but at the moment he hadn't got a jacket: It was stolen while he was doing the groceries. He called himself stupid over and over: he couldn't afford buying a new one, but in this region you couldn't go out and say: "Look, the sun shines, let's go to the beach!"
Actually, the sun shone never in this region. Only at twelve O'clock was a it a little brighter than normal. The rest of the day everyone lived in a sort of "half-shadow". There happened bad things in this half-shadows. Yes, this city wasn't one of the brightest and happiest, although it looked so: Al the snow made you forget the bad things of life, such as hunger, pain, and jacket-thieves.
He opened his bag and begun to eat a part of the bread he had just bought. After that, he stuffed the rest of the bread in the bag.
While he was walking he saw a group of five thirteen year old boys who were robbing an old woman."Stop!" he said, "don't dare to touch her!" One of the group members answered, with disrespect: "So what? You might be older, but we are with more, and look at yourself, your smaller than us!"
They begun to walk towards him. Suddenly one of them ran from the behind to him and kicked away Vic's feet. Vic felt cold snow under his nose, but counterattacked from the ground. The attacker fell also on the ground.
Then the others came, but before Vic had a chance to defend himself, Bro released himself from a Poke bal under Vic's shirt, and looked him in a way like he wanted to say:"Why don't you call me just out when you need help?!" , before he used mud-shot to blast them away. Vic toke Bro and ran away.
Just outside the city he stopped, gasping he looked after his wounds. "All is o.k.", muttered he, when he released Matre. He tried to find a good hiding place to stay this night. It would be stupid to go back to the forest, because he had to go back to the city tomorrow for other things: He hadn't had enough time to buy all.

Breed: Mareep

Gender: Female

Appearance: A normal colored Mareep with a blue point above her left eye. Vic calls it "Mother's tears".

Personality: Mild, but she opens her true side only to Vic. To everyone else is she very shy.

History: Vic found her at the place where an Ampharos brought him.

Additional information: Matre is the best (poke-)friend of Bro.

Gender: Male

Moves: 1 Surfer 2 Earthquake 3 Mud-spot 4 Mud-shot

Appearance: A normal Wooper exept one of its horns is bent. Also he has a slightly lighter skin, as al Woopers in this snowy region of Katsu.

Personality: Really self-confident, takes sometimes decisions when Vic is too shy to say something.

History: Came along with Vic after he toke Matre to raise her.

Additional information: Bro is the best (poke-)friend of Matre.

Hmm... Frosty Gorge... It is a lot like a city. There are thick rock walls that are completely covered with snow and ice and rise up reasonably high. They reach up high enough to hide all the buildings behind it and make it appear to blend into the hills. All the houses are made of white stone like the walls. There is an enormous Pokemon Center with a few nurses connected to the PokeMart. There is also a Gym, but it has since been turned into a training area instead of for badge-collecting. The Gym leader's name is Brad and he is, obviously, an ice-Type trainer. He now spends his time training his own Pokemon and assisting others in doing so. He knew that a battle is coming, he just didn't know it was almost here.
I think that we'll end up closing this thread and starting a new one in order to make things more clear...

Empoleon: Hmm... It looks good to me. Before it is accepted, however, there are a few things I'd like you to add...
What color are his eyes?
Is there anything else unique-looking about him?
Is he intelligent (street-smart vs. books-smart)?
Does he have a short/long temper?
Your background seems a little bazaar... Also, what region was he from? Katsu?
For your RP sample, you can just put in any sample of work that shows your style well. You can just type up something as well (a prologue...?).
Also, can you watch your punctuation, grammar and sentence structure? It doesn't have to be perfect, just look over your things twice before you post it or something (that's what I do, lol)

hm... there's not really much for anyone to do until either Wolfsrain posts and tells the group about Frosty Gorge or Serene's character attacks...

Are we allowed to use this information in our posts currently as kez will already have been in frosty gorge for a while before you all arrive? (he's gonna meet you there) e.g mentioning brad or the training area?
 
He can mention Brad and the training area (he can have used it before), but can't have met him. Is that okay?

Erm, my trainer card in my sig is way outdated, and ill make a new one after the timebreak (right now cant find the right one for drake)


Short up:

Drake Wolfston

Appearance: Black hair, greasy with hair gel, and very spiky. Raggedy Jeans (in a cool way) and a t-shirt with a super thin black vest with a dragon pattern, hes about 5 Foot Six inches. (sry but made it more realistic for a 14 year old) He turned 14 by now :P Brown eyes, medium build.

Personality: Wild like a school boy, makes silly mistakes, still learning, acts cool, basically just wild...

History: Used to own a ranch, but chris put him on his pidgeot and took Drake away when the bounty hunters attacked his ranch. At that point he had a pichu named Sparky. After some adventures with the uprising he managed to sneak into the PSX factory where he stole 3 pokeballs. His sparky evolved and is now a pikachu.
