4th Gen The Useful Information thread

I decided to start this thread to help people out with rather useful knowledge of events and other random things I or anyone else deem important. Feel free to contribute any other random details that you feel is important to this thread.

April 2nd - April 30th
Yellow Forest becomes available over Wifi. It is a pokewalker trail filled with pikachus and you might be lucky to find a pikachu who knows Fly, Surf, and Volt Tackle.

How to get a Beldum in under 70 days in the English version (Probably in the Japan version too)
After you Defeat Red on Mount Silver and after you go to Silph co to get a 3rd gen starter from Steven you will randomly find Steven in Silph co yet again. He will want to trade your Forretress for his Beldum. (Not sure how him being in there a second time is triggered exactly, if anyone has any info on that please feel free to add.)

I think this thread will turn into a Help Thread eventually :\ It's a nice idea to compact all information into one post, but I'm sure if someone's wondering, it'll already be announced on the forum, Serebii announces events, and if anyone has questions, the Help Thread is there and the FAQ.

I've nothing to contribute unfortunately lol Unless you count that if you don't leave a slot open when answering the Dragon Den elder's questions, you have zero chance of getting the Dratini, since you can't go back after and retrieve it. He'll simply not even mention it, so if you don't know in advance, you're screwed.

Your wrong o.O, I didn't have a slot open the first time, even left the cave a few times. Once you talk to claire for the second time, and get the Dragon Pulse TM, you can get your Dratini at any time.

Well I'm going to try to prevent it from being a Help thread and the Beldum thing I did find out on my own.

Also You can only get the dratini after you get the TM from Clair which requires you to start surfing back to the stairs. (she gives it to you after you get on the stairs in the Dragon den) and to be honest I literally waited days before picking mine up but I still got mine so I'm not sure what happened with your game.

To be honest, this really is like a Help thread - you could help people out, which is what you are doing, in the Help thread, and info like the event would be going into the FAQ thread as well (which is already full of info). Hence going to close this, sorry - I just don't see how this is all that different and if other people offer their own advice thread to boot, then it just makes even less sense.

If you ever want to share info you think should be in the FAQ or have suggestions you can always PM me or Hirro btw about it. It's really best to keep important info to the one thread, rather than have it spread all over.
