Episode 3
  • I caught my last team member after Elesa, Baloo the tiny Teddiursa.
  • I met Cheren again at the Bridge and fought Team Plasma in the Cold Storage. Stripes evolved.
  • After that I went to Clay and defeated him fairly easy with Bowser.
  • Clay told me to go to Chargestone Cave, I did and met Bianca, Professor Juniper and N. YD Pigeon evolved. Baloo evolved.
  • Ultimately arrived in Mistralton City were I saw Cedric Juniper and Skyla.
  • Skyla just had to go the Celestial Tower, so I went after her.
  • Finally I managed to battle Skyla and I have to say it was my easiest battle so far. Stripes OHKO'd Skyla's Swanna with a simple Spark.

Well, I know I haven't done much of the challenge, but I'd bring you some info about what I have done since.

Beaten Gary and the 5 nugget people
Caught an Abra (Then hacked in Alakazam and caught that at the same level: Level 8) then put the Abra in the box. I would have kept Abra but it doesn't learn any new attacks. Haven't faced Misty in the second gym yet.

EDIT: Just beaten Misty in Cerulean City. Current team now:

Got a bit carried away and went much further than expected, haha. (i.e. I need to stop playing Pokemon when I should be studying) Anyway, I've progressed through half of the Gyms now without too much trouble, though Wattson was a bit annoying. Zero's Pickup is the one reason I wanted one on my team - her endless supply of Super Potions and Revives have saved me on more than one occasion.

Note to self: fix those terrible movesets. I need to buy TMs...

First post has finally received it's update! Sorry for the wait guys, I was away for a while.
 
Username: My full username is MrTripStack, but I will be using MrTrip for this challenge.
Game(s): I will be playing through Pokémon Leaf Green.
Team(s): Marowak, Rapidash, Tentacruel, Rhydon, Ivysaur, Pidgeot

I'm looking forward to starting this challenge! The team I decided on is quite creative, in my opinion. I have never used a similar team in any of my LG/FR playthroughs. The only Pokémon on this list that I have ever used is Pidgeot, but besides that, this team will be completely new to me. All of the Pokémon I've chosen will eventually become their last forms, besides Ivysaur (since his name has to remain I).

Am I allowed to nickname the Pokémon? If I do nickname them, do the nickname also have to start with that specific Pokémon? As an example, giving Rhydon the name "Rose" (silly nickname for such a big Pokémon, but it's just an example).

One last thing: This challenge ends upon defeating the Elite 4, so I was wondering if I'd be able to edit my rom to allow Ponyta to spawn at the beginning area where he'll be around level 3 or so.
