In Platinum, you are given a free Villa in the Resort Area. Wouldn't that be nice in real life? Unfortunately, the Villa is unfurnished, and each item you can purchase for the Villa will cost a considerable amount of money. The player can also get certain visitors, either the Gym Leaders or some other notable characters like your rival. Some NPCs will wait outside the Villa and ask you if they are allowed to go in, while others will simply let themselves in without your consent.
What did you think of the Villa, and how many items did you buy? I bought a few items for the Villa after getting stacks of money from rebattling trainers, but for the most part I didn't pay too much attention to it. Even when you constantly rebattle trainers, being able to afford every item for the Villa is no simple task at all.
