Yes, but..
Faint attack isn't permament, it wont last forever. They'll get caught out in the end sadly..
Hiding is one of the best options.

..Umm..maybe.
 
I know its not permanent, but it would help them hide from the hunters.

It could be used as a stepping stone for them to find the permanent way...

Uh, no I didn't draw it. O_o I thought I put that but it looks like I didn't. XD I don't like the nose on the Ninetales, though. Looks...weird to me. XD

Okay, new topic. How about...

Do you think that Vulpix needs a third evolution? Like instead of evolving into Ninetales it evolves into someting else? Explain why.
 
Nah, not really, there are already too many evolutions now. Plus, what would it be called? And how many tails would it have?? I dont think it needs another evo.

No. Unless they made an awesome looking evo, I would end up treating the evolution the same as I think of Rhydon's evolution, Rhyperior. See Rhydon is one of my favourite pokemon, but Rhyperior I almost hate as much as many baby pokemon and Luvdisc all because theres no real point to it, really. So unless a new Vulpix or Ninetales evolution is noting sort of spectacular it will get my thumbs(or tails :)) down.
 
What about a split evolution? Like Vulpix could either evolve into Ninetales with a FireStone, or something else with a different stone or maybe leveling up. Would you think that would be worth it? I mean, think about it. If a pkmn evolves it gets more points as it levels up, and if someone doesn't have a stone then their Vulpix might not be as strong as they'd like. But if it evolved into something else cool then it could get stronger than a normal Vulpix without having to dig up a stone.
 
The idea of split evolution is quite interesting.... But I agree with Soulflame. Unless they think up of a totally amazing-looking evolution to Vulpix, I would say no to the question.
 
There is already five split evolution pokemon pre D/P with a few more being included

Gloom = Either into Vileplume via Leaf Stone or Bellosom via Sun Stone
Tyrogue = Hitmonlee at lv 20 and Atk > Def or Hitmonchan at lv 20 and Def > Atk
Clamperl = Gorebyss or Huntail depending if either Deepseatooth or Deepseascale is held
Wurmple = Silcoon or Cascoon based on Personality (almost impossible to tell)

and the most famous one, Eevee, the cute overlord of all pokemon capable of evolution (because it can evolve so many ways)

And don't forget Nincada. Its the only pokemon that becomes two pokemon on evolution. Ninjask and Shendija(only if you have a spare slot in party and if you have at least 1 Pokeball spare)

There are quite a lot, but I think it would have to be quite a grand evo if people are gonna like it. Otherwise it'll be one of those UU Pkmns...
 
Alex@ Yeah, I know. 83 But a lot of the Pkmn now days are less awesome and more weird. XD Maybe a pre-evolutionary Vulpix. 83 I just love Vulpix. XD
