omg...WHO CARES!? can we just forget about it already? and for the ppl who are angry, the staff doesn't care. it was just a joke, grow up and get over it.

Well at least some people know Staff has some kind of humor, if you think it's funny or not.

It was pretty funny. From the fake lounge to the "blackout" to teh new little theme..XD

I took screenshots of the cheaper crap.. :<
 
it was a well planned and very chaotic April Fool's Joke nothing more.

Anyone that took offense to it needs to get a sense of humor and read the hints and the original post again.

my real concern is, how are we gonna top this madness next year??

The people who we "Banned" were in on the joke. We let them in on it because we knew we could trust them to keep it a secret. They consented to being "Banned" until the joke was over.

It is an April Fool's joke. It's the most elaborate one we've done yet. And we've got a problem. Members are daring Todoroki to ban them, but we can't. So I'm asking you if you could please say something that will piss him off in my thread about him, then let him ban you for a few hours. Please. I know it's a lot to ask, but we need you to for this joke to work.

That was my let in on it. The joke seemed to worked well overall.
 
I loved that joke. I'm really gullible, yet I still loved that joke. At least PC did SOMETHING for April Fools day. ^_^

Heh, I knew a hacker wouldn't be able to do any of that unless they got an admin password. I've worked with vBulletin, I know how the admin panel works. I got pretty irritated at all the chaos the joke caused, but it was a pretty dang well-executed joke. Good job!

Muahaha...that was funny, I and some of the others almost screwed up the April Fool's prank.. by trying to get you to ban us.. XD
 
lol you guys got me so good xD At first I didn't beleive that was the mod lounge, then after a while I thought it was xD Danm I am so gulible...

but its a shame alot of people I respected had to leave or get banned ._.
 
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who hasn't taken the prank all that seriously. And it is unfortunate how some people met their end, but it was of course through fault of their own.

And now that things are clear, this thread doesn't serve much of a purpose anymore. :<
 
I must say that you did a fantastic job working on this joke. Honestly, I haven't seen any better, and it really fooled.

So, my congrats, and nice joke.
 
So...let me get this straight...the PC staff makes a joke, and then gets mad at us when we believe it?

Sounds fair to me~ D:

Base line: Don't make a joke if you're not expecting some people to take it seriously. Us members can get *very* defensive if we feel PC and our rights are being threatened.

And on another note, I knew it was an April Fool's joke, so I'm not sure why I've had multiple staff members PM/IM/tell me that it's just a joke o.o My old signature was just playing along. But I saw that it was getting out of hand, and I stopped ;x

No. We're getting mad because people are making it a bigger deal than it really is. Because apparently when we get mad, it's us not being able to take a joke. Yet when we do it, it's us being cruel and hurting people.

I just think it's a bit unfair to freak out on some people ~ when it was semi-believable.

Now that Terra_Theory should have a deserved permaban though >O

Buts whats in the past is in the past. Lets get back to normal now. :)
 
o.O Umm... the only part of this I actually noticed was the blackout thing, but seeeeeriously, everybody, it's not the staff's fault if nobody gets their joke. Frankly, if I had actually seen this fake mod forum, I'm sure I'd have found it quite hilarious. (Anybody got a screenshot or copy of it or something?)
 
I wish I wasint at smeargles working on stuff the whole time It was up Oo; Sounds like that area made alot of people angery, however considering the peopel that seem to be invalved XD I was just worried about how Ningi was actin' otherwise What happend didint really take effect till this was made X_X Man I'm really out of the loop when it comes to plans here other then the art forum area....

Pretty cool prank though XD If I wasint so busy with Egifux,tony,luke,miles and tracy. This would have been nice to see XD.

And you guys have been planning it for months? Was all the staff in on it o.o?
 
did anthony jake la made trevor (the person he hates) as a mod for an april fool joke so trev thinks its real but fooled.XD
