"Come in."

"Hey little man, did I wake you up?" Jon walked into the dark bedroom and sat on the edge of the small bed. He turned the lamp on, and his sleepy-eyed brother sat up.

"No, I wasn't asleep." Brantley smiled, he was asleep, but he didn't want Jon to know that.

"I brought you a present. It's to make up for me working so late. Here, why don't you open it." Out of his pocket he brought a small wrapped box. He handed it to Brantley, who by now was wide awake, and had soon unwrapped his precious gift.

In the box lay a single card. About the size of a Tarot card, the card was ornate and golden with the picture of a beautiful queen standing on a balcony, gazing at a shooting star. Across the bottom of the card on a golden ribbon was the words, The Wish. Brantley gazed at the card, holding it like a piece of priceless jewelry.

"Jon, I don't believe it. It's beautiful."

"It's yours. This card is special. I made it myself, and there is only one of them. Each of the team created their own special deck. This is a game just for us, and I want you to be a part of it. Now get some sleep." Jon leaned over and kissed his brother on the forehead, then made his way out of the room, shutting out the light.

Brantley placed the card under his pillow, and closed his eyes.

"I wish that we could have an adventure." Unbeknownst to Brantley, a strange glow emitted from under his pillow…

Welcome!

So that is the set up to the real plot! We are about to be sucked into Brantley's dream, his wish being fulfilled! Jon and his 5 partners (you that join) will have to fight the evil created by Brantley's dream to save him, and yourselves. Your weapon will be that specialized deck that Jon talked about in the opening. I'll go into more detail about that in a moment, for now though, the rules!

1. All PC rules apply
2. No GM or CC
3. Be literate, no posts under 5 sentences.
4. Be descriptive, this really isn't as much a rule as it is that the descriptions will be what makes this RP really cool.
5. I have control of the evil character who will be revealed later.
6. Use Brantley's name once in your signup.
7. No recurring Cards, if you see someone has a card, you can't have it. Sorry.
8. I have the right to make decisions within the RP. Please respect all of the choices I make. I can't allow someone to completely screw up the plot because they want to look bigger/stronger/more important and they go off on their own/ kill someone who shouldn't be killed.

Ok, so now I will explain the Summoning Decks! There are 7 different Elements, and each Element is made up of four parts. This means you will have 28 cards with elemental properties. There are specific breakdowns of each element though.

1. Humanoid Guardian- This is a creature with human traits that identifies with an element. They will be summoned to fight for you not with you. Most can talk, but some can't, you make the decision. You can completely make these up, or use an existing creature of legend.

2. Beastial Guardian- This is a non-human creature that identifies with an element. They also are summoned to fight for you, not with you. They cannot speak. You can make these completely up or use one of myth. NOTE: In the use of dragons, only one per deck, and make it specific, give it a name, not just The Dragon.

3. Attack Spell- This can either be a spell or a weapon, depending on your character. It is summoned, and YOU use it to fight. They are quicker summons than the Guardians, but normally are weaker, and some (mainly spells) have a time limit.

4. Defense Spell- Same applies here. It can either be a spell or a weapon. You use it, and spells mostly have a time limit.

NOTE!!!: Spells can do basically the same as another person's, just have different names, or in the case of weapons, different looks.

So, everyone will have each of those four cards for each element, which are as follows: WATER, WIND, FIRE, EARTH, ICE, HOLY, and INFERNAL. You can use my deck as an example.

MAJOR NOTE!!!!: All cards must have the word THE in front of their name. It makes them unique, so it must be there!!!!

Now, there are 5 more cards that go into your deck, bringing the total to 33. These 5 cards have no elemental affliation, and are all either spells or weapons. These are very powerful cards, so choose wisely.

I know this is a lot, but this is what the RP is based on, so your deck is very important. Make it designed for your character, and the monsters and spells reflect their style, because if you don't, it won't make sense with the story.

When summoning your GAURDIANS this is the basic event that happens:
1. A summoning circle appears below you on the ground.
2. The card appears in front of you
3. You touch it with your Summoning Item (more on in a moment)
4. You tell the card it's instructions, and say something along the lines of "under our oath I summon thee!"

Now, this is the basic outline. Those things must happen, but you make them your own. IE, you can throw the card, it can just appear, it can loop around you. Summoning is a beautiful magic, so make it that. Use a lot of detail in the summoning, as much as you would on the actual monsters and characters.

Summoning Item- Something important to you from the outside world that has been transferred (and perhaps transformed) that must touch a GUARDIAN card for it to be summoned. Jon's is his watch that is changed to a Pocket Watch.

One final thing, each of us have to represent a different element, even though we can summon from all seven. This is because we will each receive two more cards during our journey, and they will represent our element. Another thing this alters is your appearance in Nidantes (the dream world). Your appearance there will reflect your element, as well as what you really look like.

Here's mine!

Name: Jonathan (Jon) Brooks

Age: 22

Element: Holy

Personality: Jonathan is just your average guy. He's a little on the geeky side, and very in touch with his imagination and inner child. He can seem stiff, especially in an office setting, but around his 10-year-old brother Brantley he is fun loving and childish. His colleagues see this a lot, especially when Brantley comes into the office to test out the new innovations in the card game business. No matter how stiff he is, his compassion and kindness always show through, especially for children who can't afford his products. He hosts a lot of fund raisers and gives away a lot of free merchandise to those less fortunate.

Appearance: Jon is about 5'7" and slim. He doesn't work out, but his job and metabolism keep the weight off. Since he runs the firm, he normally dresses casually, and encourages his employees to do the same, for after all, it is a company that specializes in children's card games. His form fitting t-shirts and slim dark blue jeans really show his age, as well as the black Converse slides on his feet. He wears small square glasses, and his brown hair is shortly cropped and always gelled. Behind his glasses, his eyes sparkle with the imagination that lies behind them. They are deep mahogany with golden flecks and fade into gold near the pupil. He is slightly tan, but nothing spectacular. His most prized possession is his watch, a silver timepiece that opens, showing a picture of him and Brantley.

Appearance in Nidantes: Jon still stands about 5'7", but his body gains toning as his strength and agility improve. His hair is the same brown, but the tips take on an odd golden hue, matching his eyes. He wears a cream tunic with ornate golden embroidery swirling and curling all across it. It is tied with golden string, and the shoulder pads are also line lined in gold. The sleeves are free flowing, tied at the elbow and wrist with more golden string. The ends of the sleeves fall gently around Jon's hands, but don't fully cover them. He has a leather belt with more gold embroidery. On it is eight leather cases, each with more golden inlay, one for each element's cards. His pants are just a plain cream, and tuck into his brown leather knee-high boots, which also carry the golden thread. Over all of this is a simple golden cloak with a hood. The final piece in his ensemble is the silver pocket watch attached to his belt and hidden in a pocket on his tunic. It is adorned with a golden pentagram, and the chain seems to extend or retract at Jon's wish. In it lies the picture Jon holds so dear next to a gold handed clock face.

History: Jon's parents died when he was 18. Brantley at that time was only 6. Since he was an adult, and had a good job as an intern at Victory Cards, he assumed custody of Brantley, and raised him on his own. He and his brother are extremely close, and Jon relies on Brantley as much as Brantley relies on him. Now that Jon owns VC, Brantley has become his most trusted advisor. Between Jon and his team of his six most innovative, trusted advisors, they have pumped out 5 consecutive major card games. All games must first be approved by Brantley, after that, they hit the shelves. Only one game has not made it past Brantley's approval, and it resulted in the man quitting. No one talks about him, but he was brilliant, just too violent for the children's viewing. He started his own company, but his cards have been doing poorly against Victory's products

Name: Zephaniah Xylon
Age: 22
Element: Water
Personality:
Zeph is a very intelligent person. When he had his IQ tested, it was quite high. The exact number though is debatable due to him tampering with the score. So he does have an evil side. He has very good problem solving skills as well as complex planing skills. He is very anti-social and, while is willing to make friends, he has a very hard time expressing himself in public. He is extremely protective of his friends and family. The only side of himself he shows in public though is his prankster side. He can also be very lazy if nothing has caught his interest. He almost always wakes up at noon or later. He also loves to read and has finished well over a hundred books. He can almost always be found with a book in hand.

Appearance:
He wears pretty normal clothes and wouldn't stand out in a crowd. He is only about five feet, four inches tall. He often wears a pair of black pants that have a few holes in the bottoms of the pant legs. He's a very active person, always going places. He also has a pair of very dirty and worn out green and white tennis shoes that he always wears. He also wears two shirts, one a silk dress shirt, that is always unbuttoned, with thorny line patterns all over it. His undershirt is just a black sleeveless shirt with a Red Chinese dragon on the front. That alone is decent enough to be worn out in public. He just prefers to wear both. He also has a pair of fingerless gloves that have a paper claw attached to each finger. They are very old, given to him when he was six by his late father.

Appearance:
The most noticeable difference between his real self and his dream self is that those gloves have grown to about ten times their original size, and are made of metal. Also he's now about nine feet tall. Also the way his body is shaped and the way he moves sort of remind most people of flowing water. His hair is also dark blue and hangs down a little past his ears. And finally his eyes are a sea blue color.

History:
He comes from a very rich family. Because of this he hasn't really had a very exciting past. Their was one time when he got blamed for setting the local library on fire. After about three weeks of everyone being sure it was him, but not enough proof to arrest him, the real culprit was caught and put in jail. He hasn't really had many significant events in his life. Just some small incidents that sometimes get him into trouble. He also got lost in his backyard one time. They have this huge hedge maze back there.
Also until the age of nine, he had a personal tutor named Xaki till the age of twelve, so he never went to public elementary school.

Personality:Nathan's personality is rather unsociable. He has a lot of difficulty understanding people, so he always keeps to himself. Unfortunately, this results in his dislike of dealing with other people. His opinion of others is so low that he tends to see people only for their use. Nathan refuses company, as he feels that friends only drag him down, cause him pain when they fail him and make him feel like "unnecessary baggage" to them. To him, society is simply an annoyance that forces their values on him, pester him and expect him to do things he doesn't want to do.

Appearance:Nathan has black spiky sorta messy looking hair and he is exactly 5'7".He has turquoise eyes that seems to be full with untapped power.Nathan wears a high-collard long-sleeved blue jacket over a short-sleeved black shirt with a sun symbol on it.His lower body consists of a belt,black jeans, and red and white sneakers.

Appearance:When Nathan arrives an Nidantes the most noticeable difference is his hair.Its now blond and he has two layers,The First layer is the front view,Its naturally curly and in the middle there are two bangs that intertwines with each other( which are about an inch longer than the rest of the first layer).The Second layer is the back view, its reaches to the end of his back.The clothes are completely different.He is shown wearing a long-sleeve indigo shirt open at the torso.He as a diagonal buckle going across his chest up to his left shoulder where a black shoulder guard with the symbol of the sun on it is.On his left arm he has bandages from his elbow down to his wrist,also on the left hand he wears one dark blue fingerless glove.The Right arm his cover completely with a black cloth.The lower half consists of black shorts with a dark blue belt with a deck box attached to it.He has knee high dark blue and white boots.

History:Nathan grew up in a normal family with a mom,dad,and a sister.Him and his sister was very close,they would go everywhere together. They were twins but she was older then him by 10 mins.She would brag about this all the time and use as excuses to get out of work.If she was told to do something she would tell Nathan to do it and when he asked why she would say "cause iam 10 mins older than you..liilll bro" Nathan would do it just because he love his sister. Well around when he was 16 his sister died in a car accident. Since then he has shut himself off to his friends,parent and the world.The only thing he had to remind him of her was a crystal that her best friend gave her on her 14 birthday.That crystal is his most prized possesion ,its like a second heart to him.

Name: Wesley Lass

Age: 27

Element: Earth

Personality: Wesley is generally quiet, preferring to let his actions speak for him. Though he isn't great at making friends, he is a very warm and friendly person. The few friends he does have are considered the closest people in his life. He is strong and confident, though dislikes violence (but will use it if absolutely necessary). He usually keeps all of his thoughts and opinions to himself unless doing so may hurt someone close to him. He enjoys realistic things, feeling that fantasy is a waste of time. He is logical and methodical.

Appearance: Wesley stands at six feet and weighs in at about 180 pounds. He keeps his jet black hair short and face cleanly shaved. His eyes are brown, though are his most prominent feature, shining brightly. He wears mostly button up, collared shirts and (usually) khaki pants. He isn't very muscular, though he does exercise regularly. He is tan. Overall, pretty average.

Appearance: His appearance in Nidantes has changed drastically. He is now around 6'3" and weighs around 220 pounds, mostly in muscle. His skin is slightly darker and rougher. His hair has gotten lighter, a dark brown color now. He is noticeably slower, running as fast as others walk. His clothing consists of a grey t-shirt and (again) khakis pants. His grandfather's pocketknife is located in his back-right pants pocket.

History: Nothing exciting has every happened to Wesley. The middle child of a moderately wealthy, hard-working family. His parents, Heidi and George Lass, were slightly strict. In school, Wesley received all A's, his parents accepting nothing less. His older brother was, at the age of eleven, shipped of to a boarding school due to "bad behavior" and was not in Wesley's life. Due to this, Heidi and George put all of their hopes and expectations on Wesley. Not wanting to let them down, Wesley tried his best, but eventually gave up and followed in the steps of his grandfather. Wesley's grandfather, Edward Lass, was a college professor and Wesley's favorite person. Soon after Wesley went off to college (at age 19), Edward had a stroke and died. Upon hearing the news, Wesley left school. After the funeral, Wesley received several things from his grandfathers will, including: his entire library and, more importantly, Edward's most prized possession, an antique pocketknife. Wesley returned to school the following year, graduating a few years later.

Name: Ryan Lysberg

Age: 24

Element: Air

Personality: Ryan has never been one to forge long lasting relationships, despite being very friendly to everyone he meets. He's not one to keep his emotions bottled up, and if he doesn't like something, he'll say so immediately. Often, he'll say something that just pops into his head without meaning to. This is perhaps, the most probable reason he doesn't have too many good friends. Ryan often fidgits when left without something to do, unable to sit still for even a short amount of time. Ryan often skips meals, despite his love for cooking. His creations in a kitchen can be both very good... and sometimes deadly.

Appearance: Ryan's very slim, as he spends most of his days writing for magazine article. He stands at about 5'9", with his light brown hair, never exactly tidy, falling just around his ears. His eyes are a light blue, and to many his facial features are considered somewhat sharp. His usual outfit is an open-front short sleeved green collared shirt over a light tan t-shirt, worn with a pair of blue jeans. On his left arm is a narrow scar which runs the length of his forearm.

Appearance: The most noticable change in Ryan's appearance is that his hair has gone completely white and seems to shift constantly, without and movement from him or the air around him. His eyes, still blue, have gained a slight sheen. At his torso, instead of the shirt he prefers to wear, is a pale blue vest with a holder for a deck at his left shoulder. A white ballpoint pen is clipped to the vest just over his heart. Underneath the vest is a sleeveless white shirt, seemingly made from velvet. His pants are a dark gray, much like that of a storm cloud, just before it begins to rain. His scar, interestingly enough, has gained a silver color.

History: Ryan grew up as an only child. His family was middle class, neither poor, nor rich. Ryan was never a top student in anything other than english class, his skill with a pen was obvious from a young age. He often spent time with his father, who was a freelance writer. On his sixteenth birthday, he received the pen his father constantly wrote his drafts in. When his father died in the car wreck three months later, which also gave him the long scar on his arm, Ryan also began to write for a living. The pen he received from his father is always on him somewhere, though he often forgets where exactly.

Personality: Raven is an easy going person naturally, but when it comes to cards he is cruel and shows no mercy when using them. He loves Jon like they were brothers and thinks of Brantley as a little brother. He spends most of his free time flirting with girls and hanging out with Jon and Brantley. He loves cards no matter what kind and always has since he first seen them. He helps out anyone he can with the best of his ability, and is very athletic, but lately he has been under a lot of stress and freaking out on anyone who asks him to do something for them. He loves the cold weather and dislikes the hot weather, no one usually comes to his house during winter because he always has the air conditioner on high.
Appearance: Raven is about 5'10" and is very muscular. He always wears black pants and a black shirt, his finger nails are usually painted black also but on a good day he usually has them painted purple. He also wears this old beat up black hat with a feather sticking out of the side with it. His hair is a jet black and reaches down to his shoulders.
Appearance: Not much changed when Raven entered nidantes but a few big changes did occur. He is now standing at 6'2" and is way more muscular than before. His hair is now a bright white, his clothing are still black but he has chains on his pants and a few on his shirt. He now has a black trench coat on and doesn't have his hat anymore but he is now wearing black leather gloves with sharp purple spikes on the knuckles. His nails are a combination of purple and black.
History: Raven's parents never did like him because of the way he dresses and lives his life so he ran away from home when he was 16. He met Jon when he was 21 in a card shop and since then they have been good friends. Raven has always been good with any kinds of cards but his own special deck is something he has been thinking of for a long time now. Raven has just got onto better terms with his parents and is supposed to meet them in a couple of months to check up on each other.

The bright morning sun shone through the window, straight into Jon's sleeping face. He rolled over, it was winter, so the sun rose early, he knew his alarm wouldn't go off for another 20 minutes. As he tried to drift back to sleep, he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in..." Jon grumbled as he rubbed sleep from his eyes. He was expecting Brantley to walk through the door, but once the door open, a portly, smiling woman entered carrying a tray laden with breakfast goodies. There were three eggs, over easy, two peices of toast, and a piece of ham. This was on a wooden plate, with a wooden fork and knife placed perfectly on a napkin beside it. A wooden cup was also on the tray, making the seeming perfect breakfast in bed.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Jon screamed as he jerked his quilt up to his chin in defense. The woman stopped and smiled, seeming to expect this reaction. As he recovered from his shock, he realized that he was not in his room, and he slowly did a sweep, taking in everything he could.

The first thing he noticed was that everything was wooden. Wooden floors, ceilings. walls, furniture, the only thing not wooden was the quilt, mattress, and a small woven rug on the floor. It reminded him of something he seen in Brantley's video games...

"Am I in an inn?" Jon somehow knew he was right, but still felt the need to ask.

"Sure are sugar! This here is the Yulesburg Inn: Finest in the Parrish of the Wind!" The boisterous tone of the Innkeeper echoed off the wooden walls as she placed the food on Jon's lap. She pranced back out of the room, but stuck her head back in for her final remark, "I've got to deliver the rest of the breakfasts, but be sure to eat up and meet downstairs in 15 minutes. Summoners have to have their strength!" She winked and shut the door, leaving Jon bewildered.

"Summoners...?"

As nathan slept quietly in the bed,He begin to here loud thumping noise in his head.Every time he heard a thump, his face would tighten and tighten.Until finally he was so disturbed that he decided he should wake up.He opened his left eye suddenly to find out what the loud distracting sound was.

As he begin to regain his vision the first thing he notice there was a large wooden door.He turned over in the sheets onto his back.He sat up slowly,looking dazed.He begin to scratch his hair.The knocking continued. " nhhhgggg...come in!". Nathan said agitated in the bed.

When the door opened to nathan's surprise a portly woman came in with a wooden tray with breakfast in it."Good morning young summoner" the portly woman said as she walked over to him in the bed.She looked nathan up in down "Well how did you sleep last night.

Nathan begin to get irritated "Who are you woman and why are you in my room" Nathan said irritatedly,but on the other hand the food looked tasty. "So iam guess this food is mine" Nathan said as starting to eat the food with weird wooden utilizes.

The portly woman stared at the strange young man as begin to eat "well it's my pleasure to give you food" the portly women said as she begin to walk out." well i'll talk to you later got other summoners to wake up."She said as she left the room and shut the door quietly.

When Nathan finish his food.He decided to get up out the bed.Nathan stepped out the bed and raised his hands to the sky as he yawned.He notice that the entire room was made of wood."Hmp this place is weird" Nathan said as stood in the middle of the room.(Iam obviously not home,where am i....and why iam i here...and what is a summoner..... this place...where iam i.)

As Raven sat laid there on his nice soft mattress, having a nice dream of him and a bunch of cards he heard some light tapping at the door and woke up sweating. He realized that he wasn't in his nice and cool room, and was in an regular old fashioned wooden room. Then he noticed that his hair was a bright white, almost shining and he freaked out and fell out of his bed.

"Where am I?, what happened to my hair?, why is it so hot in here?!" he screamed aloud.

Then the door opened quick and swiftly, barely noticeable by the untrained eye an nice looking lady came in and put a tray of food down on his bed and started to help him up to his feet.

"Hello did i startle you? I'm sorry, have a nice meal and be ready in 15 minutes please, and meet everyone else down stairs" the nice lady answered the puzzled look on his face.

"Where am i? and who are you?" Raven started to ask but before he got the rest of his question out the lady was already out the door and it shut with a light thud.

"where am i at? ..... this looks like an old fashioned inn but I'm not quite sure of myself, eeeewwww i hate eggs and i don't really like breakfast all that much so I'll just get dressed and head down there early" Raven muttered to himself as he started to get dressed and was heading out the door.

Hey im just concerned but is the RP dead or something no one has said anything since my post and that was a week ago?

First of all, it was hot. Secondly, it was too bright. Ryan stared at the unfamiliar ceiling for several moments before realizing he wasn't in his bedroom. He sat up, scanning the room, obviously, this wasn't his house either. Wooden furniture decorated the room, it was unusual, as his home had a modern look to it. He yawned, covering his mouth with his left hand, light glinted off his scar.

"The heck...?" The silvery skin seemed to shimmer in the sunlight. He touched the skin with the tip of his finger, it felt normal. So what else was different? He checked his hair, pure white. Ryan jumped at the sudden knock on the door.

"C-come in!" He said, pulling the sheets around him. A woman came in, carrying a tray of food. She smiled at him cheerfully, moving over to place the tray on his lap. The food looked good, very good, in fact.

"Thanks," He said, "Where..."
"Your friends are all eating and heading downstairs, you'd better hurry if you don't want them to leave without you." She left him to eat in peace. Ryan finished his food quickly, then dressed in the clothes by his bed. It wasn't what he was used to, but it looked pretty damned good. He left the room for the stairs.
