OKay, finished! :D

So, can't wait to start!

But, isn't Ic3b3rgZ reserved for the last spot? Or did he count as one?

And...um...by 'sexual(l) themes', does that mean no romance at all? Because...well..you see...:D
Whoops! You're right!
Ic3b3rgZ, if you want Chikorita, then feel free to step in and hand me your SU!
Also, yes, there can be romance, just keep it G-rated.

Name: Eliza Burnhart
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Preferred Pokémon: Bulbasaur
Personality: The very definition of calm, and often a mellow background addition due to it, Liz has little initiative, habitually observing and analyzing whilst the world is in super speed all around her. Some assume her sloth, rarely active in any event and dodging work whenever possible. Interestingly enough, Liz will put all her effort into manipulating circumstances so her assignments are as limited as possible… Which, not surprisingly, usually results in her wasting more energy and time in the process. Lucky she has enough wit inherited from her parents, just a miniscule portion of their genius embed in her head, to conjure most of her ridiculous schemes and be satisfied with the results.

Yet, for her avoidance of work, Liz has a casual mannerism that's easy to get along with, nicknaming everyone either "darling", "sweetheart", or some other endearing term, whether they be league champions or strangers she waved to on the street. Her honesty is appreciated by many, though it is supported by a hidden steel beneath her hazel eyes, a stubborn, iron-plated philosophy, and the fact she gives her lazy, sloppy, lopsided grin to just about everyone also tells them something about her. Her relaxed tendencies seem to follow her in most facets of her persona. There are a few matters that will send her over the edge. Most notably, her height is a forbidden subject and best not be mentioned to keep her rational, as is best.

Appearance: Eliza distinguishes herself with her prized hat, a crinkled, aged, checkered pageboy cap she has on her person at all moments, usually hovering atop her hazel hair, covering a portion of her bob. The elongated ebony crest provides a shadow to defend viridian pupils from the sun, occasionally obscuring them from the public's view in the process or hindering her own vantage point. Most of her clothes tend to compliment the ornament, adding their own checker pattern in the mix, though she doesn't mind wearing the outrageous, mottled ornament even if it doesn't necessarily match her brand new ruby pants or something. After all, what's a little bit of shame for comfort against the sun?

As mentioned above, that conflict is a rarity in itself. Liz's favorite casual outfit happens to be an emerald jacket with checkered squares on the cuffs and encased in an arrow that darts around outwards from the pockets in unpredictable directions, complimented with a plain white blouse and loose jeans buckled to the waste with an inordinate belt. Unfortunately, Eliza's rather short, standing fully, without platform shoes, at 4'11'', often mistaken for a fifth grader by strangers or otherwise enduring midget remarks, most of her jeans having creases at the ends, where she's folded them skywards to avoid tripping.

History: Liz is the elder of two born from a pair of technology-savvy scientists whose sole duty, along with a host of equally savvy specialists, is to protect the basement of the Indigo Plateau or, more importantly, the Hall of Fame database within the computers within the basement of the Indigo Plateau. So, Liz grew up watching champions enter and leave her "home." It became a regular occurrence to meet the champion, at least once before they left, and Liz was always very mild in conversation, barely aware of their new status as the greatest Pokemon trainer for the rest of the year. That's how she took it.

Her peers couldn't, in the least, relate. An odd fever would overwhelm them whenever the proximity from a transparent screen closed to a sizable meter, symptoms including a nervous twitter of the thumb, uncontrollable babbling of mentalities in absolute disarray, and a boldface rouge spread from ear to ear, to list a few. They suffered from a disease of nervous tension, admiration grasping them and rendering them... speechless and impotent in conversation. While Liz was amused most of the time, her brother would swear at his behavior afterwards, for quietly staring at the floor whilst biting your names a lasting relationship is not made of. Most of her friends couldn't bond with League champions and she felt almost guilty about their temporary despair.

Then there were those who were not her friends, peers at her school, acquaintances knowledgeable enough to match Eliza's name with her face when they tuned in their television to a program covering the aftermath of the Indigo Plateau and spotted familiar viridian eyes speaking animatedly with the champion. That category bothered her, literally, taking their obsessive establishment of fanclubs and fansites to her, demanding contact information. She denied them consistently, but they always returned, more aggressive than before. Eventually, Liz was inspiring all sorts of pranks and mischief by her resolve, making school more of an inconvenience than an actual chance to further herself.

That's when one former champion suggested to her, "Go on a journey." And, whether it was his long monologue afterward, her own personal, week-long, insomniac musings, or the fact it was an appealing idea in a miserable moment in her life, Eliza agreed, making plans for New Bark Town, where a sapling would be reserved under her name. Upon arriving, Elm directed her to a party to make acquaintances, mentioning that the child in the family would also be a starting trainer.

And that's Eliza's weird beginning to the weirdest journey ever...

Now we only need one more person to get this RP started! YES!

Sorry for double posting, Mods, but I needed to tell everyone this:
If nobody joins by tomorrow morning at about 8:00 AM EST, we'll start the RP.

EDIT: Since nobody joined, I'll use the Chikorita spot for Silver, with a twist. WE ARE STARTING AS SOON AS I POST THE FIRST CHAPTER, PEOPLE! FINALLY!!!!! :D

Thanks a lot! I'm working on it at the moment, then. ^-^

I haven't got the RP sample done yet, but I'm feeling kinda tired, so I'll do it tomorrow (unless you don't care and if I can go without. >_<).

Name: Diana Mittens
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Preferred Pokémon: Chikorita
Personality: An incredibly nosey and easily annoyed person, Diana can be incredibly picky, in such situations as if there's pulp in her juice she won't drink it, or if there's cheese on her burger she won't eat it, or if someone spilt something on her favourite shirt she won't wear it until it's been washed at least twice. Preferably more.

Having grown up with two brothers (who had a hobby of picking on her, getting her to do things and fighting her when she wouldn't abide to their wishes), she learned to defend herself with no help, and as she grew and began to develop friends she would defend them too. Anyone who laughed at her surname wouldn't be able to laugh again for a few weeks. Anyone who insulted her or one of her friends would be in hospital for months. And let's just say, miraculously, whenever a teacher decided to put Diana in detention they would mysteriously have other things to do.

However, though it may seem so with her rough upbringing, Diana is in no way unintelligent. She excels in music – piano and guitar being the only hobbies she's taken up – but is above average in everything else. Except history; she hates history. Her favourite colour is navy blue, which is the colour of almost all her T-shirts, and – needless to say? – she thinks friends are more important that family.

Appearance: Diana isn't incredibly tall for her age (5' 2") though is skinny (100 pounds roughly), with strong legs and arms. She has a scar on each of her palms, a cross – made by her brothers with a knife the first time she had refused to do their bidding, as a 'warning' – which is why her hands are normally cupped into fists. Her eyes are a stunning yellow, obtained from her mother's genes, whilst her hair is a golden blonde. Because of the way her ears are tipped, she liked, when she was younger, to think of herself as an 'elf'. She has thin eyebrows and tanned skin, with pale lips and a nose that's curved to one side due to it being broken more than twice.

Considering she only has one pair of jeans with a slit across each knee, made by her, and no other trousers, those are the ones she always wears. However, she has seven shirts, six of them being navy blue and one being strangely mesmerising rainbow colours. As for footwear, she only has a pair of too-small-for-her black and white Nike trainers, and she has vowed herself that through her journey she plans to get a new pair.

History: With her first word being 'geddoff!' and having made up her own improvised martial art at the age of seven – if you could call it that, as it consisted of only three great moves: punch to the chest, kick to the groin and the uppercut – you can tell easily that Diana didn't have the easiest time growing up with her brothers. Typically, she has never known her mother or father (and honestly hasn't had the time to care that she didn't) so had to put up with her brothers growing up. Martin and Maxwell, however posh their names sounded, were ruffians, thugs, goons, however you wanted to put it, and liked nothing better than roughing up their younger sister.

Although her upbringing was rough, and although she would never admit it, Diana did learn a lot of skills from her brothers torment and from generally where she lived – it wasn't long until she discovered that she had a sub-photographic memory, whereas she would remember fully some images but suppress others, and learned that once she had seen and looked over a map for a few minutes she knew exactly where to go in almost any situation. She also has an odd way of always being able to tell what direction is north, though she never reveals how. She knows how to fight and once studied Karate and Tae Kwon Do, but didn't have the determination to keep up with either. Once she started primary school however, she began to struggle, until her third year Maths teacher noticed this and started helping her out. Slowly she began to grow better at school and life in general, and it wasn't long before she was taking care of her brothers (who were only three years older than her in any case).

However, once she started high school, she wanted a new life – grabbing everything from her room (literally), she left her brothers behind in the early dawn. The same year, she was destined to receive her first Pokémon, and was moved to New Bark Down with a group of other students, as that is what happened in the Pokémon world (every month a group of students were selected and sent off for the month to receive their Pokémon in New Bark and start their journey, then return to high school either that year or the following one). This is where she met Diego, though she kept away from him, along with everyone else, as she didn't really trust anyone. Yet.

Accepted: patch. for a well-done SU. I'm accepting you without an SU because I'm anxious to start the RP!

WE HAVE EVERYONE!!! Please post your responses to my post in the IC thread.

Just asking, as I wasn't sure, but I presumed that the 'order' we arrived in the lab meant the order we should post. Is this true or not?

Is that why nobody's posting?
Well, no, just post in whatever, but if you were planning to say, "There were _ Poké Balls left in the machine", that would have been helpful. Also, it helps to say wether there was little or a lot of commotion in the house when you arrived, as you arrive in the same order you get to the lab.

Thanks again for letting me keep Maddie. My post will be up by the weekend at the latest, because I am working on a fairly important SU right now.

Yeah, the note including "order" and "post" together threw me off.

But, in that case, I'll try scourging an intro post sometime tomorrow.

iPrincess, thanks for telling me about that. Otherwise, I would have been wondering why nobody was responding!

Just make sure to get your posts up quickly, you guys.

I know there are no Pokemon left, but if I were to post an SU as just a person with no Pokemon, might they encounter one later on? I'm thinking they'd have been planning to get a Pokemon the same day as everyone else, but were too late, and intead of going home and crying they still go to Diego's house and deal with it.

Well, seeing as you'd have to get a Pokémon before entering the real world, you're going to be really creative. PM me about how you would do that and post your SU here and I might accept you.

Well, if nobody posts in the main thread in the next 3 days, this RP is over. Not that anybody actually cares...
