You're a person living in the Pokémon World.
Johto, to be exact.
On the day that you got your Pokémon, something happened.
And you now have a Pokémon.....
But in this world!

Now, you have to learn how to be a regular teen in this world while hiding your Pokémon from the FBI, making friends, camping out in the woods behind a neighborhood, making money for food, learning about "real" life, going to school, and attempting not to get taken in by the police because of child care laws, all while trying to find a way back home.

What will happen?
It's all up to you, some close friends, and some unlikely allies, too.
Jump into the world of animals, where craziness awaits you!

Plot (detailed):
It's the announced Pokémon Receiving Day for trainers in Johto! Seven lucky trainers are getting their first Pokémon from Professor Elm of New Bark. You are one of those seven. You get to choose from one of seven rare Pokémon. After gaining your Pokémon, you head on over to Diego Johansen's house, along with the other six trainers, for a party! It was meant to be a party that the popele there would never forget, and, sure enough, it was: In the middle of playing a Wii game about a world with no Pokémon, all seven trainers started to think: What if there were no Pokémon? What would happen? Suddenly, there's a huge electrical spark from the outlet behind the TV, causing all the power to go out! In the darkness, Diego tries to find a flashlight. What he finds, however, is that they're not in New Bark any longer!

Rules:
- Standard PokéCommunity Rules apply.

- No Godmodding, but minor controlling is allowed if the creator of the character allows it.
- No posting OOC stuff in this thread.
- You must act as if you were from the Pokémon world, no immediately fitting in.
- You must make at least two friends in the new place: A fellow Pokémon Trainer, and a regular person.
- Describe what you've brought and what you're wearing, etc.
- Posts must be in detail.
- You must all be 12, 13, or 14 (the right age for 7th Grade).
- Keep this thread G-rated. That means no swear words, no sexual themes, no drug themes, etc.
- No having any anime/game/manga/whatever characters. I feel that would just be too awkward.
- Only one more trainer can be accepted, and the only Pokémon left is Chikorita.
- No random "OMG I FND A ROKET SIENTIST AND WHEE IM BAK IN TEH POKEMON WRLD" stuff or anything like it.
- Show respect to every other member within this thread.
- Be active. I'm not afraid to kick people out. If you may not be able to post for a time, please inform me. Do not just disappear without word.
- No capturing legendaries, immensely strong Pokémon, etc.
- Your Pokémon are not invincible.
- Only capture Pokémon I say you can in the section intro.
- The more rare the Pokémon, the better your post must be.
- Whatever I say GOES.
- Most importantly, have fun!

More Info:
The place you wake up in is called Hollywood Heights. It is a suburban neighborhood in the western side of Blanco, Texas. It is walking distance from restaurants, a grocery store, a gas station, and a GameStop. You wake up in an empty house that's for sale on Mountain Street. I'll make a map of Hollywood Heights later on.

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Time Span: From when you wake up on the day of getting your first Pokémon to when you knock on the door of Diego Johansen's house for the sleepover at 6 PM.

Area: From wherever you are in the Pokémon world to New Bark Town.

Other Info: The order you arrive at the Lab is the order of your SUs, meaning Jazmine Marie's character first, then fire woven's character second, then Proddit, iPrincess, and Key'd's characters, my character, and finally, patch.'s character. The same thing happens with the arrival to the party. Between when you get your Pokémon (around 4 PM) and the time you're supposed to come to the party (around 6 PM), you can do whatever you feel like. The girls are sleeping in another room.

Get to New Bark however you feel like. (Car, Bus, Train, Flying, etc.)

My Post:

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down..."

"Why did I have to set my iAlarm to 'Random'?" I asked myself as I hit the Snooze button on my alarm clock, shutting off the annoying song that I put on there to annoy my friends with. As I rolled out of bed, I hit my head on my bedside table and landed on the floor with a cry of pain, "Crap, that hurts!"

Holding the side of my head, I managed to make it downstairs and into the kitchen, where Dad and my little brother, Pablo, were sitting at already, with Dad reading the newspaper as usual. Mom was making pancakes, which was unusual, as she only makes pancakes on special days...

With a jolt, I remembered what was happening today! The day I received my first Pokémon from Professor Elm was today! As soon as Mom set down my pancakes onto my placemat, I scarfed them down and bolted out the door. "Wait, Diego! You're not getting your Pokémon until four, remember?" But by that time, I was long gone.

As soon as I made it to the professor's lab, I saw a sign on the door: "New trainers, this is the chance to get your first Pokémon! The big event is at four PM on the seventeenth of October!" Seeing the time made me groan. It was only nine in the morning!

"Hey, you! What are you doing here? The Pokémon event thingy isn't until this afternoon!" As I turned around, I saw a kid. He was about my age, and had red hair and some weird getup. He was smirking at me. "And why aren't you wearing any clothes?" he asked, still smirking. As I looked down in horror, I noticed that I was still wearing my nightshirt and ONLY MY UNDERWEAR!!!!! "Oh, CRAP!!!!!" I yelled as I raced back home, my face flushed. This was the worst thing that could have happened to me!

As I got back home, Mom was waiting at the door. When she saw what I was wearing, she got this look of shock on her face. "Diego, you went out with only your underwear? And to something that's happening later today, no less!" she said. I dove inside, ran up the stairs, and sat down on my bed, hoping that not many people had seen me. Tired from all the running, I laid down on my bed and.. went.. to.. sleep.

"Diego, wake up! You're going to be late!" I woke up and saw my mom staring back down. "What, is it four already?" I said, not wanting to be disturbed from my peaceful sleep. "Actually, it's PAST FOUR!" my mom screamed in my ear. "CRAP, seriously! You could've woken me up an hour ago!" I yelled as I tore around the room, stuffing things into my backpack. I grabbed my pants and t-shirt, put them on, grabbed my backpack, and raced out the door as my brother tried to hide a smile.

When I got to the lab for the second time that day, I noticed someone walking away in my direction, but, not wanting to be any later than what I already was, I ran straight for the lab. The automatic doors slid open, and I slid on the just-waxed floor of the lab. As I slid past the Professor, he noticed me and tried to stop me. Unfortunately, this all ended in the professor and I crashing into the Poké Ball machine and crumpling into a heap on the floor.

"Diego Johansen, I presume?" The Professor got up and, adjusting his glasses, turned to look at me. "Err, yes, sir," I said. "Sorry about that, Diego, the guy that comes in to wax the floors started using a new wax and used a bit too much." "That's fine, Professor. Now, is it okay if I choose out my Pokémon?" I asked. "Sure! After all, we ARE already at the machine..."

I stared at one of the two Poké Balls that were in the machine. Amazingly enough, it was the Pokémon I had wanted, Cyndaquil! I typed in my name, where I came from, and the Pokémon I wanted, and out popped the Poké Ball, a few Oran Berries, five empty Poké Balls, and a Pokédex. "Thanks, Professor Elm!" I told the Professor. He smiled and said, "Have a great adventure!"

As I turned to leave, he said, "Wait, I just remembered something! Since you were having a party, I decided to send a few other new trainers there so you could get to know each other. Oh, don't worry, your mom is okay with it," he added as he saw my expression. I slid out of the lab and tumbled down the stairs, ending in a heap at the feet of my mom.

"Did they just wax the floors again, sweetie?" she asked as she helped me stand up. "Come on, your friends are waiting." While I thought about how awesome this party was going to be, we got home in what seemed like no time. Mom unlocked the door and walked inside, with me following. Little did I know that this night was going to be more than just "awesome"...
