5th Gen Things in B/W that irritate you - discussion!

- The insane encounter rate
- Lack of rematches with most trainers and also gym leaders
- The fact Petilil isn't on every route
- The boring post-game (I like the high levels though!)

that is all. :3c

The Pokemon League is such rubbish in B/W. You can easily defeat Caitlin and Shauntal with a dark pokemon and beat Marshal with a pyschic and Grimsley with flying. Then it was off to a real let down battling Alder. I found him easier to beat than the others and a lot of his pokemon have a fire weakness: Excavalier, Accelgor and Vanilluxe (possible Volcarona, I cant remember).
I just think there are way to many pokemon of the same weaknesses in his team.

LACK OF WATER IN UNOVA!

Erm, yeah. Water critters (and water levels in general) were always the best part of the franchise, and the chance to just go around exploring was one of my favourite bits of most of the games. I understand the more urban environment meant that water would be kept to a minimum, but even the level we ended up getting was kinda crappy in respect of my expectations. And the water critters themselves introduced in B/W weren't great. Like, at all. Which is a shame.

The lack of water pokemon!

Seriously what were they thinking in the previous generation there was always a big amount f water pokemon to choose from but now nothing.

Oh and Ghetsis and his annoying Triad dudes showing up and blabbering. It was so long that i didnt even read it

1. Team Plasmas' extra long and boring speeches.
2. The never ending sandstorm.
3. The fact that my C-gear takes a lifetime to turn on when turned on in-game.
4. The time penalty we get for changing the date on our DS when using the Global Link.
5. Cheren. He just bugs me whenever I see him. x_x

Oh, boy.

- The lackluster post-game.
- The annoyingly-high encounter rate.
- The bad-in-competitive-play starter Pokemon.
- The uninteresting story with lots of potential.
- The very easy difficulty.
- Many Pokemon this generation are forgettable.
- Team Plasma's motives.
- The jump in levels post-game.
- Pokemon Musicals
- The lack of a Stealth Rock TM.
- The linearity.
- The lack of a VS. Seeker.
- Many of the animations are pretty bad.

My very main issue in this game is some of the designs of the new Pokemon aren't just my type, it was a bit of a let down when I first saw them, but eventually, they grow on me, so yeah.

I hate how you cant trade in past gen pokes until post E4.

This means no solo running with past gen pokes.

Icirrus's Ponds. Why do they contain Pokemon nowadays? I rmemeber the days where puddles are only puddles left by the rain...

and Unova's Victory Road is... pretty confusing. I always slide down the wrong slope.

The abundance of NPCs that offer to heal your team. It's good, yeah, but it just doesn't seem right - I'd rather have to buy Potions whenever I can than just think "lol oh well" whenever one of my team faints while grinding, and go and heal 5 steps away from where I was training.

The C-Gear. Every time I turn the game on, i get a prompt asking if I want the C-gear on. I never use it. Why can't I just turn it off forever.

The weird experience mechanics still kinda irk me, it seems like it takes longer to grind/train now.

Actually it is easier to train now, with the existence of lucky egg, which will double the experience your Pokemon gets.

It is a good thing about this Gen! I love it when I am nearly fainting and its miles away from the next Pokemon Center, and I have no fly. I love it that somebody can heal you in every Route.

The things that irritate me in B/W:
1. Litwick and Elgyem are the only Pokemon I can find in Celestial Tower
2. Not much Pokemon during fishing and surfing
3. IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO EVOLVE LARVESTA!!!!
4. No Vs. Seeker
5. It's Region dosen't have any other Pokemon but it's own(Ex: Abra is not in the Unova Pokedex)

Just throwing it out there, you can if you trade them from another B/W game, or you use the Dream World. You just can't take a Pokemon straight from D/P/Pt/HG/SS to B/W before you've being the E4 for the first time.

You can also use pokecheck to transfer pokemon from gen 4

I really don't think he meant through means that aren't available in-game. That's just gaming the system, which is available in any game ever so it doesn't really count at all.

hate that black/white removed some tms like dark pulse when i need them the most

i couldnt get a special stab move for hydreigon since

they also have a lack of pokemon with Sp A. ev
there were like 20 out of the 150 and i could only find a few of them

wish that black or white was for for 3ds at least
i dont want to buy another ds just to get some pokemon migrated >:l

Something that also annoyed me was that so many Pokemon I loved could not be obtained without Poke Transfer, meaning so many people needed a 4th Gen game to fill their Pokedex.

I often have to hoard my brother's old DS Lite.
