Anime has been fairly constant quality throughout the years. otherwise, all other forms of media... including TV, movies, and music, have taken a nosedive as of late. There are far fewer TV shows and movies that I'd watch voluntarily, and most of the music I listen to is pre-2000. In fact, a good percentage of it is pre-1990.
