    Single Battle Team – UU

It all began when I became sick of using the same pkmn repeatedly in OU battles and it was becoming tedious. I was hearing about a lot of UU battles recently and it peaked my curiosity. I delved into the world of UU battles and to my suprise there were some weirdly strong pkmn there. This pleased me so I constructed a squad. RMT and bear in mind that I don't have any real experience in UU battles. Enjoy!

[PokeCommunity.com] This is the most fun I've had in ages! (UU)

    Lopunny @ Flame Orb
    Klutz
    Timid
    236 HP / 164 Def / 110 Spd
    ~ BatonPass
    ~ Agility
    ~ Magic Coat
    ~ Switcheroo
My support lead that aids my team's slower sweepers. Also I can trick flame orb onto physical sweepers to hinder them as well as take away their supporting item.

    Zangoose @ Life Orb
    Immunity
    Adamant
    252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
    ~ Swords Dance
    ~ Return
    ~ Close Combat
    ~ Shadow Claw
Edit: Changed from exploud, this pkmn more than replaces him. Faster than previous, he can out speed many pokemon that exploud couldn't and with a speed boost it makes his sweeping power even more threatening. Thanks goes to dark seeker for helping out with this set.

    Jumpluff @ Leftovers
    Chlorophyll
    Jolly/Timid
    252 Spd / 188 Def / 70 SDef
    ~ Encore
    ~ Leech Seed
    ~ Substitute
    ~ Sleep Powder
This has turned out to be one of the most enjoyable sets I have ever used. It's so fun to watch your opponent struggle so hard against a pokemon that isn't that strong defensively. I find it's most effective when you switch in on a ground type move, such as the ever popular earthquake, and clap an encore. This then gives you the choice to either set up a sub or sleep powder the switch in.

    Nidoqueen @ Leftovers
    Poison Point
    Impish
    252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Atk
    ~ Stealth Rock
    ~ Toxic Spikes
    ~ Roar
    ~ Earthquake
The queen takes fighting moves like a champ and any CC aimed at lopunny or zangoose are met by this female beast. She also covers jumpluffs poison and rock weakness' while at the same time drawing out ground moves for jumpluff to switch in on. Her main function is to set up hazards so when opponent pokemon start to switch furiously from jumpluff they get damage and status. She also makes a good recipient of agility. Lovely.

    Magmortar @ Life Orb
    Flame Body
    Modest/Timid
    252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 6 SDef
    ~Fire Blast / Flamethrower
    ~Thunderbolt
    ~HP Ice
    ~Focus Blast
Edit: Changed from camerupt mainly due to how slow he was and magmortar has much better coverage to sweep with should he get an agilipass from lopunny. Thanks to Korova for this set.

[PokeCommunity.com] This is the most fun I've had in ages! (UU)

    Lapras @ Leftovers
    Water Absorb
    Modest
    192 HP / 112 Def / 160 SAtk / 46 SDef

    ~ Ice Beam
    ~ Thuderbolt
    ~ Surf
    ~ ???
Another typing strategy to make sure I have a resist I can switch into should my team need it (i.e. Nidoqueen, Magmortar). Boltbeam for coverage, plus Ice beam gets STAB. Surf is lapras' main STAB attack and (Edit) I originally had toxic in the last slot but with nidoqueens toxic spikes hanging about I don't really see the point. Would like suggestions on another filler please.

I hope this isn't a totally terrible team, but with so much to choose from I thought it would be pretty hard to make a bad choice.

I guess the rest is down to you. Cheers!

I think as a physical sweeper...Exploud isn't youre best bet...With agility support from Lopunny...

I think ursaring is a better choice.

    Ursaring @ Life Orb/Choice Band/Leftovers
    Adamant/Jolly
    252Atk/228Spe/30Hp

    -Return
    -Crunch / Sword Dance
    -Earthquake
    -Fire Punch

You're going to have to get in about two rock polishes for camerupt for a realistic sweep chance IMO..

So I think maybe either purely use agility for camerupt and go HPice/grass >> Rock Polish..

    If not then:

    Magmortar >>>>>>>>>>>>> Camerupt

    Magmortar @ Choice Scarf
    Modest/Timid
    252SpAtk/252Spe/6SpD

    -Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Overheat
    -Thunderbolt
    -HP Ice
    -Focus Blast

The beauty is that it has better coverage than Camel and it doesn't need an agility boost.

    Hope this helps.

Lapras EVs are messed up. Use *smogon.com link removed* to find defensive EVs. Your EVs are wasteful. with a 60/40 bias toward Special Defense and a Modest nature, the spread I got was 236 HP / 24 Def / 88 SDef. With a 50/50 bias I got 232 HP / 116 Def. But your EVs are pretty wasteful.

Also, get rid of that awful spacing >_>

Horrible spacing please make the Pokemon and moves closer to each other.
    Lapras @ Leftovers
    Water Absorb
    Modest
    192 HP / 112 Def / 160 SpA / 44 SpD
    ~ Ice Beam
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Surf
    ~ Toxic
Use those EV's they are much better and let Lapras never be 2HKO'ed by a Modest Omastar's HP Grass and a Modest Gorebyss's HP Grass.

In place of exploud you could try.....

    Zangoose @ Lifr Orb
    Adamant
    252att/252spd/6hp
    ~Sword Dance
    ~CLose Combat
    ~Return
    ~Shadow Claw

Hits everything for neutral and with agility can really devestate teams.

Thanks for the advice, especially Korova and dark seeker for the move sets. Have edited the thread so take a looksy for anything else to coment on. Cheers!

Edit: I've had a few goes with this team now and Lapras' toxic seems almost redundant so I need someone to help me figure out what a better filler would be. Anyone?
