The period of animation that I find the most visual-striking is around 2015/16 during the XY television series and Pokemon Generations, with Hoopa and the Clash of the ages being the last movie I enjoyed. Since that is a long way from the 90s, this would probably classify as later animation. However, I hate most of the animation to comes after this date though like Sun & Moon, Detective Pikachu and the remake of Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution. So I have to say early animation, even though I like certain later animation, I still find a lot of the older stuff to be visually consistent, and like the majority of it. I still can watch the original series okay, and love the movies from the Advanced and DP period.

Use your sole master ball for a randomly encountered shiny, or save the master ball for a roaming legendary?
