This or That- 3000 edition

Dang, that's a tough one. The post special split is better for the Pokemon themselves because it really opened up the possibility for coverage and stab options for many mons. But I still enjoy playing games made before the split, and even though the battling system is more straightforward, older games still have a lot of cool contents that you don't see much now like the game corner, secret final boss fights, the battle frontier. I guess I will go with the post special/physical split though, because not just the battling system became much more complex, but the main storylines did as well. I especially like what they did with Black and White.


DPPt or HGSS?

BW or B2W2?
 
Black and White, I like the old Team Plasma better than the new one. Their moral argument for Pokemon Liberation wasn't unreasonable, and I think it is more interesting to fight this Team Plasma that is led by the sympathetic N, than the second version of Team Plasma that no longer plays with that ambiguity, and is all bad.

Gallade or Gardevoir?
 
I'm not too fond of either. I would probably pick gallade though, it reminds me somewhat of a gallant knight.

Arcanine or Flareon?
 
Y is the one for me, i think it's design is more on point to what this evolutionary line looks like. Also I just think it's fun to build sun teams around and a good doubles partner.

Mega Charizard (either) or Gmax Charizard?
