Those darn natures

    What awesome natures have you obtained?
    What pokemon(s) were they on?
    What game were you playing?
    I have gotten a adamant larvitar in Leaf green and an impish hippopotas in b/w.
    Amazingly, I was hoping for those abilities when I caught them:P
     
    I got a Jolly Zubat with all six IVs above 25 super early in HG once. It's a shame that I had used him in-game (no proper EV training), but he became one of the best Crobats I ever had. :D
     
    When I picked up Archen in Black, it was Hasty on the fifth reset and had a perfect Speed IV as well as a 30-31 Attack IV and a 27 Special Attack IV. I didn't care about the defenses because Archen''s defenses are still poor even if it had good (Special) Defense IVs.
     
    Why is it that some natures are harder to get than others, when no one nature is more common than the other? Like how come most of them tend to be one of only two or three natures, some only show up occasionally, and some show up hardly ever?
     
    I have a Naive Growlithe which sucks because -Sp Def. :( But I'm EV training it in speed (Naive = + Speed) and also special attack So I'm hoping it'll be so fast, they won't get a chance to hit it anyway :D

    It's not quite random. There's a long list of natures, literally hundreds of thousands in a row, that it could be based on when you started the game, your game in particular, how you encountered the Pokemon, etc. You'll find that if you record down to the second when you hit "Pokemon Black/White" on the DS menu, do that again, you'll get the exact same Pokemon, IV and Nature-wise, if you don't have to walk at all to get to it. If you start at the exact same time and save once, you'll get the same IVs but a different nature. It's not like it just pulls it out of a hat.
     
    I dont really care about natures..I dont play the game to have a full team of pokemon Lvl 100 with EVs and the best movesets for them to tear through the E4 and any unfortunate soul who comes upon my pokemon. Nope, I play it for the same reason people played Red/Blue/Yellow, before competitive became popular..TO HAVE FUN. Of course, im not saying competitive sucks, just that it isnt for me. Nor is training my Pokemon to be my slaves and to be able to K0 anything..I see a Pokemon I like, I catch it. So...*shrugs* sorry if its off topic..
     
    I have a Modest Chandelure that I caught, as a Litwick, completely by chance. I don't know how to work out the IVs, but its Special Attack is through the roof, so I'm guessing they're pretty high as well.
     
    I have a Naughty (+Atk -Sp. Def) Luxray in Diamond, a Naive (+Spe -Sp. Def) Murkrow in Diamond too, a Brave (+Atk -Spe) Torterra also in Diamond and a Quiet (+Sp. Atk -Spe) Emboar in White.

    My favourite natures are Brave and Quiet.
     
    Through my playthrough of Pokemon White I was looking for a Mienshao with Regenerator. I caught one but it had Inner Focus as its ability so I caught a second one and it had Regenerator along with a Jolly nature and attack being her highest IV. I also got an Archen with a Naughty nature and he pretty much owns everyone who doesn't hit him first.

    To be honest I don't know which are awesome and which aren't, so I'm just happy when one of my favourites such as Quirky comes along :)
    The one I'm talking about in this instance is Sassy :)

    My female Abra, now Kadabra :)

    What game were you playing?
    Leaf Green, I just thought it was the coolest thing ever that I had a Sassy Kadabra lol :D Whether it's useful or not, doesn't matter to me lol :D

    I also got a Lonely Venomoth in Leaf Green and it actually DID look so Lonely I just wanted to give it a hug lol :D
    My favourite natures are when they seem to match the pokémon themselves :)
     
    I got a Modest Oshawott by chance at the start of White version. It's ok I guess, although imo Special Samurott isn't great. What is great, though, is the Modest Victini I got first time! ^^
