    i'd say a little bit of both. i often flip flop between thinking about my past and thinking about my future. most of the time, both thoughts are negative. i have a very low sense of self-esteem and i honestly think i'm not going to get anywhere in my life based on what's happened in the past. very rarely though it can be positive.
