4th Gen Time for a new team?

Aughh. So as much as I love my Eevees. And I do love them. [Points to signature.] I'm getting tired of my entirely Eeveelution team, and thinking about building up another team. Maybe even EV training them. Not to mention that I'd like to make a competitive team and start getting into the player-player battle aspect of the game.

I'm on my fourth badge in Kanto right now, so my question is do you think I should just finish the game and all before I make a new team or can I go for it right now? Obviously the Gyms aren't so hard, but the E4 the second time around and red and such.

I'm going to go for Pokemon in the UU category for the heck of it, and thus far I know I want a Milotic, Nidoking and Altaria in my party. Any other suggestions? I may throw Lugia in, even though I realize it's far from UU.

Since this is in-game, you can really use any team. With your current selections, I would pick something that can use both Electric and Fire-type attacks, like Manectric (Overheat & Thunderbolt) or Magmortar (Flamethrower & Thunderbolt). You could also use someone like Ninetales, but it's harder to breed all its moves onto it since it requires you to use Smeargle.

Note also that if you want a team now, it's certainly possible but jusat means you'll be having to train a fair bit to give thm the necessary levels (which can be done via rematching people I suppose, and/or via Exp. Share).

However team help threads aren't allowed here, sorry, so going to close. Beside the suggestions already, just try somthing that interests you I suppose, or just go for a smaller-than-6 team.
