The Gang... Sort of... Kind of​

In the world where you are about to embark... nothing is like you can remember, most of town and cities are gone, those who remain..., they are now different. Several Pokemon had gone extinct, and those left are slowly disappearing...

Why? That is quite simple, the arrogance and selfishness of just one man was enough to wreak havoc in the whole world... and that man..., that man was Cyrus.

Plot​

In the peaceful region of Sinnoh, there was a man… his name… Cyrus. He was the head of an organization known as Team Galactic. He wanted to create a new world, a world he would rule.

After creating a Red Chain from the crystals in Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, he and his commanders headed into Mt Coronet. Once there, at the peak, named Spear Pillar, he managed to summon both Dialga and Palkia, rulers of time and space, respectively.

But something went wrong. A Pokémon known as Giratina appeared from a portal, joining both the human world with the hometown of Giratina… the Distortion World.

It was here when it all went wrong. Cyrus, blind by the powers that the Red Chain had granted him, tried to take control of this third dragon… nothing good happened, instead, the rageful dragon broke the chain. Giratina convinced his brothers that they had to punish humanity for what Cyrus did.

And so, the three dragons took flight and started wreaking havoc across the land of Sinnoh. After a few hours, the region as it was known had already vanished. But the dragons were still angry, and so they headed towards the lands of Hoenn. Once again they bought destruction; only know, with another thing.

While they were spreading chaos, they managed to wake up both Groudon and Kyogre. With anger as they had just return to their slumber, the two titans shaked the lands and spread the seas with such strength that the whole world drastically changed.

Most of cities sunk underwater or were destroyed by the quakes. Of all the gyms, only a handful remained. And the same goes for the Pokémon League HQ of every region, as only one of them remained.

No one knows what happened to Team Galactic, as each and every member, including Cyrus, suddenly disappeared within the Sinnoh region.

The titans were still angry, and so, Rayquaza, the sky dragon, finally appeared to stop them once again. But he was stopped by the three dragons of Sinnoh. All hope was lost…

Or that is what everyone who survived thought…

Deep under the ground, on a place that was somehow uninflected by the quakes, a castle belonging to a group that was called Team Plasma dwelled. Their leader, lord Ghetsis, was waiting for the day the organization would finally come from beneath the ground to achieve their goals.

But they were surprised when they did…

A doomed land was what they saw, and they knew they could not accomplish their goals… unless they ended the fight. If N was really the chosen one, then he would be able to awake Reshiram. Both Ghetsis and N headed towards Dragonspiral Tower, a place that had barely been affected, remaining almost the same as it was.

Once in the top, Ghetsis handed N a small, white stone. To his surprise, the stone became Reshiram in the moment he grabbed it. Both of them rode over Reshiram. And headed towards the three dragons.

A fierce fight took place over the remains of the world. Rayquaza recognized Reshiram as an ally, and so, they fought together against the three dragons. With Reshiram and its powers, victory soon showed itself for N, Reshiram and Rayquaza.

The three dragons tried to retreat to another place. But the creator showed himself, mad for what his three sons did to humanity. He banished the three dragons into the Distortion World, locking the portal that opened in Spear Pillar after that.

Arceus retreated to the destroyed Hall of Origin, and once again, took a slumber. With help of the grunts and survivors, Team Plasma re-built all the cities that remained. And now those who collect at least eight badges of the remaining gym will have the privilege of entering a Pokemon Tournament that will determine who'll be part of the new elite four, and the new champion.

Team Plasma became everyone's heroes. But they've been acting a bit awkward lately. They are now even stealing Pokémon from others.

Because of this, a group of Pokémon Professors, some well-known such as Professor Juniper, and other whose names no one seems to remember, have started to recruit prodigies at Pokémon battling that will take down Team Plasma, and also because they recently discovered an engraving inside Mt Coronet. The professors believe that among these prodigies is the one the engraving refers to.

In this role-play, you'll play as one of those trainers chosen by the professors. A trainer that will travel around the world trying to prove himself/herself (who knows, maybe the engraving was wrong or something) as the one that the text refers to. You will face tough challenges, such as Team Plasma, and other trainers that have the same goal as you (like other role-players, or people who had the rank of leader, elite four, or maybe even champion).​

Scattered around the world, the Pokemon Professors are letting those who they consider to be prodigies a chance of choosing one of five Pokemon, which are different between professor, some of them have been taken, but currently these still remain:​

[FONT=&quot]Personality: Steven is somewhat of a hot-head and is always fast paced. He tries to get his job done as quickly as possible yet he still does it in a professional manner. Steven would rather lose than ever quick and he never backs down from a challenge, he because of his quick wits and thinking few people rival him. Yet he does not have bad sportsmanship if he ever happens to lose he would keep on practicing until he feels like he is better than the person that had beat him.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Back story: Steven had grown up on the streets because his mother abandoned him as a child, because of this he always had to fend for himself. He was soon adopted by a rich family, yet the first year he was happy. Yet soon his parents had to go on business trips and because of this they bought his love whenever they came home he would get all the latest gadgets, technology, clothes, anything he wanted. At the age of 10 he felt like he didn[/FONT][FONT=&quot]'[/FONT][FONT=&quot]t need anyone and since they didn[/FONT][FONT=&quot]'[/FONT][FONT=&quot]t really care for him he ran away. He soon went to the Kanto Region and he started helping Professor Oak around his lab learning more about Pok[/FONT][FONT=&quot]é[/FONT][FONT=&quot]mon. Professor Oak. Professor Oak saw how he could trust Steven so he started assigning him to research teams as an errand boy. Steven should started forming a bond with a Pikachu, Professor Oak had. The Pikachu loved him back and they became the best of friends.

One day, Professor Oak called Steven into his office and explained the situation; he told Steven that he was to choose a started Pok[/FONT][FONT=&quot]é[/FONT][FONT=&quot]mon for his quest so he decided to choose his longtime friend Pikachu and started his journey.[/FONT]

Appearance: James is tall, standing at 6'2", and well built but thin. His eyes are a pale yellow with flecks of red and green. His apparel consists of a yellow t-shirt with a black flame on it. He is kind of pale but not pasty.

Personality: James is very calm and collected. He never loses his cool and is quick to forgive. He is fine with taking things at a slow, easy pace and will never try and push someone to far.

Backstory: James' whole family managed to survive the entire thing simply by going underground. They found a group of survivors and followed them into a deep cave system where they eventually built their own town and used the light of pokemon to grow crops and the like. Jame' family was one of farmers and they owned their own cavern under ground. When he turned 16, he snuck up from the underground town to see the word.

Appearance: Tall, but not huge. Slim, but not too slim. She has dark purple hair, dyed and originally blonde. She always wears the same black t-shirt, which is now way too small for her. She wears a tight miniskirt, that is three sizes too small. She wears the faintest amount of lipstick, to make her lips normal colour, simce they are naturally black. She has very pale white skin.
Personality: She is generally cold towards humans, since all of them that she has met despise her. She doesn't give a wet slap what other people think about her, or about friends. She wants to prove that she is better than everyone else, that is why she chose a pokemon.
Backstory: Her earliest memory is of lying deserted on the ground, alone. A man in black walked in, holding a gun. Chaos ran, chased by the man, finally escaping. She was in Saffron. She saw people there, but they all hated her, so she ran and ran. Years later, still running, she collapses, seeing a sign sayin "Pallet Town" Later that day, she awakes in a lab. She sees an old kind face looking at her, an instintively punches it.

Appearance: 6'0 around 160lbs. Often wears a pair of black track pants with his hands in his pockets. Also wears various shirts, though you usually cant tell what they look like because his favorite gray hoodie covers them. Silvery-blue hair, messy, just past his ears, green eyes.
Personality: Salias is very laid back, outgoing and able to adapt to change
Backstory: Once the world began changing Salias and his father traveled to the nearest city searching for his mother. She worked in a department store as the woman at the front desk, but once they reached the city the whole town was being evacuated to a nearby observatory for safety from the rising waters. In the crowd of people panicking he was separated from his father. As things began to calm down he sought them out.

Name: Marty Towns
Age: 11
Gender: Guy
Appearance: Marty stands at about 5'1. His messy hair, which is a dark brown covers most of his head, strands of his forehead and traces down the back of his neck. Marty's hair becomes especially messy whenever he takes off his grey beanie, when he wears it he keeps the lower portion folded so it fits his head perfectly. His eyes are a bright hazel and have an innocent sort of look to them. He usually wears a thin, light grey hoodie that is a few sizes up, the length of the sleeves go a few inches past his arm and the thing just sorts of sags on him. If it becomes unbearably hot for his standards, he'll take off the hoodie, revealing a black sleeveless shirt that fits him snuggly. Marty also wears a thin pair of dark grey sweatpants that can easily be rolled up and act as shorts. He carrys no bag, usually keeping things within the large pocket of his hoodie and sometimes sweats. Marty also owns a white string necklace, attached to it is a a portion of a gemstone but people rarely notice it due to his large hoodie. He walks bare foot because he does not own a pair of shoes.
Personality: Marty's a quiet kid, at least when it comes to people. He's not necessarily shy, he just doesn't usually trust people from the start. If someone gets him to talk, he'll talk but he won't expose much about him and is rather cautious around new people. To be honest, he's just afraid of getting too attached to people. Even with all the distrust with others, if he sees another in danger he feels obligated to help. If Marty does actually warm up to people he often worries about his companions and is willing to help them no matter what. Surprisingly, Marty is also a pretty confident kid taking into account his size and age.
Backstory: Marty never knew his actual parents. As far as he could remember, Marty was wandering the streets and forests of Kanto when he was four, having no recollection of his previous years. He surprisingly fared decently living on his own. With the assistance of various kind pokemon he had met on his path he was able to survive. One day, Marty was traveling inside the pouch of a Kangaskhan when they stumbled upon a camp of trainers. There were about five trainers in total there and when they saw Marty they were shocked. They approached him as Marty climbed out of the Kangaskhan's pouch and seeing as he looked like a stray they offered him a chance to join their little group, or as they put it, family. Unsure, Marty accepted the offer but he for a long time he had rarely spoken to anyone within the group until one member of the group, Rogers, handed him his beanie as a gift. After spending a year traveling and living with them, Marty become rather attached to his new family. In his mind, they were his only family, the only people he ever cared about and vice versa. For once in his life, Marty had a home, technically. They moved sites often over the years and had visited the Johto and Hoenn regions. At the time of the disaster the group had just arrived in the Sinnoh region. They had spread out over Jubilife City, and were helping others escape to safety. Marty was with the family's "leader", Angel, and things began to escalate and became much too dangerous. The two fled, the group had promised to meet up in the Johto region at an old secret hideout if they had ever gotten lost to regroup. The remaining four never came back. Angel and Marty lasted it out and shortly after it started to become peaceful again, Angel decided to leave, telling Marty he had to try and find the others. Marty wanted to go with, but he was told to stay put and wait for him to come back. Before he left, he handed Marty his necklace. Everyone else in the group had one, and when put together they formed a crescent. Marty was the only one to never have one, because there were only five pieces. Marty waited for months, Angel, like the rest, never returned, he was crushed, the only family he had ever known and they were gone now. He knew he had to leave, and he wouldn't last any longer in that hideout. Before going out on his own, Marty took Angel's hoodie that he had left behind, even though it was way too big for him he's kept it because it and the necklace were the only things he had left to remember of them. Ever since, Marty has avoided getting too attached to people, not wanting to go through the same thing over again.

Appearance: Tall,about 6'4. He's about 170 pounds, and skinny. He has long, traight jet black hair with charcoal colors mixed in. He always wears dark blue jeans,not quite black, and a grey long sleeved shirt with the large letter M on it. He keeps the sleeves rolled up. He has a slightly pointed nose and a scar across his face. He grew up in Azalea Town, and was attacked by Bugsy's Scyther during a freak accident.He has an unnaturally deep voice and a barrel like chest. He has strong arms that he toned by cutting wood in Ilex Forest with his bare hands. He has strong leg muscles from running everywhere he goes.He wears a plain black hat and wears it backwards all the time.
Personality: He is usually friendly, but is dead serious a lot. Due to the Scyther attack, he has a strong fear of bug Pokemon, which could really be a problem growing up in Azalea Town. He is very, very protective of friends and his relatives. He always seems to be tense, even when he is completely relaxed though he never lets his guard down. He won't hesitate to fight, though he hates fighting.
Backstory:He grew up in Azalea Town with his mother and father,Viridia and Blake Grizz as an only child. He was seven or eight by the time he started to work for the charcoal maker.At first he used a Farfetch'd that his boss let him borrow. He named this Farfetch'd Beater, for it's tendency to beat anything and everything with its leek. By age eleven, the accident happened. He was wondering around Ilex Forest when he stumbled upon Bugsy training. He stepped on a dry branch, and Bugsy's Scyther flared with rage, dashed over, and slashed Malik across the face before he could react and Bugsy returned it to it's pokeball.As the years went by, he became more and more afraid of bug pokemon.As he grew stronger, he broke wood with his hands to make charcoal. His boss made him return Beater, much to his disappointment. He turned fourteen when the incident occurred. His family perished when the dragons ravaged the Johto region.His parents stayed with the town's pokemon trainers to hold the dragons off, and made sure he ran away, which he reluctantly followed the orders. He managed to escape to the Ilex Forest while listening to the destruction behind him.He wandered in the forest for days until he finally came out at what remained of Violet City, and began to wander to the south.

Name: Thomas Brian
Age: 15
Gender: Guy
Appearance: Five foot 6, Thomas is of average height. He has brown curly hair, hazel eyes and a tanned orange skin tone. He usually wears a Green sweater with plain blue jeans. There is always a sense of authority about him, and he speaks with a deep, mature voice. He has long legs and a short body, from his waist to his chest. From behind you'd think he was an adult when in fact he is actually 15. His muscles are only starting to grow as he's never been to them gym before he became 15. His body type is athletic. He has a strong build around his shoulders and strong legs. His appearance is very unique because his body is very athletic and strong but his face is very chubby with skin all around his chin.

Personality: Thomas is a genuine nice person. He has a certain authority about him. When he sets his eyes or mind on something he is very focused. He is easily motivated but as easily knocked down. His personality is very unique is how he's described by people that just meet him. For some people it's in a good way and in some it's in a bad. He thinks of it as; not everyone can like your personality. Thomas is very active and does a lot of sports. Sports such as; rock climbing, canoeing, surfing and basketball. When he plays his sport he is very happy, it makes him feel that that's him. He enjoys eating a lot. Some of the things he likes to eat are chicken nuggets with salad and mayonnaise. Some thing he hates are spicy foods. He hates going to Indian restaurants for that only reason. He doesn't understand how some people take all that spice, it's beyond his intellectuality and imagination.


Backstory: He was canoeing in a lake as he noticed the water starting to splash onto his canoe. At first it was a little drop but it soon turned into havoc. His canoe was flipped over and he had to swim back to the shore of the lake. He ran home, he turned on the t.v and switched the news on. He soon saw that there was havoc being caused along the whole region. He had no idea what it was but yet did he know, he would find out.....
His mother and father were out shopping for groceries at the time of the incident. When they arrived home they had been in a right state, his mother's hair was scruffy. He had never seen on hair of his mother's out of place but today, he knew that something terrible had happened to them as well. They explained what happened.
"We were shopping for groceries as I started to hear a shaking sound coming from the cornflakes box. The sound was getting louder, soon enough the whole isle started to rumble. Eventually things started falling out of every direction. Glass bottles, cartons even the heavy bags of rice were ripped open." Explained his dad.
" And then, in a sudden without anyone realizing; the ground split in in half, I was on one side and your father was on the other, he grabbed my hand I hopped over the minute fissure. As we was escaping the grocery store I couldn't help but look down into the earth. I saw darkness complete and utter darkness, and down further beneath the darkness there was destruction." His mum said.
"We would have died if it wasn't for the man in the counter who had used his Geodude to use rock throw to fill in the gaps of the fissure. We escaped by running out of the mall taking the car and speeding it all the way home. And thats why your mums hair is in a state.

"What's going on?" Thomas said.

Thomas and his family survived by living in an underground layer that was built for survivors of all of the earthquakes and tsunami's and other natural disasters. The layer seemed to be unaffected by all of the disasters. They stayed there for a while; they thought that this was probably a natural accident but it proved to be more. They had fount out that the causes of this were Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. Thomas is very determined to become the person that will end this war, he wanted to stop this so his family wouldn't have to live in an underground safe zone with minimal oxygen for the rest of their lives.

You just need to say how they survived.
Where did they found shelter? Stuff like that.

I actually meant how they survived after the reunion -.-
Because the RP starts a while after the earthquakes n' stuff is over.
So, I must know how Thomas and his parents survived.
Because, well, houses and buildings collapsed, towns flooded, nowhere was safe at the time, so, how did they survived if nowhere was safe?

You can be as creative as you want as long as you can answer that question.
And, sorry if I'm much of a bother, it's not my intention.
