Skarmory is my starter. It can take one metal energy (both special and basic) from the deck straight out to the field. Then, klinklang's abbility allows me to rearange the energies any way I want, meaning that my pokemon will almost always have energies.

Then I'm free to grind gears ;) both Klinklang and Steelix does 80 damage on average, and can do 160 damage with some luck. The special energies allows me to resist alot of damage, and combined with Steelix "Guard press" attack, I can absorb up to 60 damage!

    What do you think? :)

Too flippy in damage for me. But I think you should use some Double Colorless Energy in case you need a quick setup for attacking mid-game, since both Klinklang and Steelix need two colorless energy for their hardest hitting attacks. Maybe look at Steelix Prime from Unleashed if you want some more consistent attack strength using these two Pokemon.

Good point about double colourless, I'll look into it.

I considered Steelix prime, but his Gaia-something-attack was just to expensive :/ Maybe though, thanks for the input!

Yeah, that attack is quite expensive. DCEs could help with it, though. Wouldn't use it without DCEs. I'd rather use something else, but other heavy-hitting steel types that are Stage 1 don't really exist.

Scizor Prime can be useful. For a cost of MC it can do 30 damage plus 20 more for every Metal Energy on Scizor. Basically it can do 70 damage for two Metal Energy. It also has a very useful Poke-Body that protects it from Pokemon that have Special Energy attached.

Also, you can probably drop the Klink line to a 3-2-3 since you're using Rare Candy. I'd also only use 2 Candies.

Also, you have no way to retrieve Energy from your discard pile, so I'd drop the Engineer's Adjustments and add cards like Energy Retrieval or Energy Returner. Along those lines, I would add some cards that let you shuffle your hand into your deck, like Judge or Professor Oak's New Theory. I'd personally go with 2 Juniper and between 2-4 other hand refresh cards.

If you decide to use Steelix Prime, you can ignore the previous paragraph since Steelix can also retrieve Energies from your discard pile, making Engineer's Adjustments and Professor Juniper less risky.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks alot for the input! Yeah, you make very valid points, I'll probably drop at least a jupiter and add some energy retrieval's or something along those lines, thanks for the tip!

I had scizor in mind.... but I just can't bring myself to do it xD I dislike the pokemon to much :P But we'll see.
