Well, my hard disk had a head crash last week, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't back up my data. I was looking for a great deal on external storage, since, while storage is cheap, I wanted a lot. Then I planned to reformat for a fresh start. I should've been more diligent and backed up the most important things anyways, especially since I have a crazy amount of webspace available, and a bunch of DVD-RWs. x_x; On the bright side, I'm getting my fresh start. The idea of rebuilding my computer universe -- I customise everything I can; extensibility is one of the foundations upon which I base my life -- is an incredibly daunting one, and the prospect of losing all my data... well, I still haven't accepted it. I just have the few things I put on my site (https://shaym.in/). Scripts, WIP pages for my site, e-books, music, games, game mods, software, add-ons, images, Photoshop files. All gone. But I'll cope. Data retrieval is incredibly expensive D:

    1. Kiss leisure time goodbye for a few days
    2. Re-install core programs (Firefox, MSN, AIM, mIRC, Notepad++, FileZilla, foobar2000)
    3. Re-populate Firefox with most important add-ons and shortcuts (Stylish, Greasemonkey, AdBlock, Re-host, Tab Managers)
    4. Go through site's directories and salvage what's there
    5. Re-populate my IRC configuration file
    6. Set up most important, simplest scripts (ajoin, on-connect events, self-protection scripts, aliases)
    7. Download less important but desirable programs and software (Photoshop, WinRAR, uTorrent, No$GBA, VBA, DesMuME, Opera, Shoddy Battle, Google Chrome, Python, Flash, Fireworks, Last.fm, Shockwave, KMPlayer, Microsoft Office, VirtualDub, Audacity, Django, TortoiseSVN, ImgBurn... can stagger these)
    8. Set up torrents for music, import iPhone collection (several gigabytes out of the... 40-50 or so...)
    9. Start work on less important, more complicated scripts
      [*]Re-skin Vista
    10. Start building a texture / brush / stock collection again D:!
    11. Re-install games
    12. Start work on mod library... GB upon GB... .__.
    13. Resume work on shaym.in / remake templates

There. Put like that, it's not quite as scary. It'll be time-consuming, and involve lots of trawling through the internet, but I can do it. I've done it before -- probably half of my PC posts were made from the library when my comp was broken / internet was down, rofl. IDEK why I'm posting this here, but hey, I have to post it here somewhere. And it serves as an explanation as why I might be a little busier shortly? XD; My data is my heart, man.

And! Thank you so much for your kind comments, guys. <3 I'm so uber sleepy right now, but I'll make sure to reply to them soon! /nods
