    who thimks dupicating on G/S rocks?

    Now this is one of tha moments when I'm glad ta be tha lazy person that I am, tch, cause getting tha right moment ta shutdown while it's saving takes time an' patience, which I ain't got. XD

    Duplicating takes away tha fun. Besides, tch, I don't even feel special havin' duplicates anyways. <_<

    I think duplicating does take away the fun and challenge. Sometimes it is good though for example if you're friend has one Celebi and you want one for yourself. On my gold I have an army of cloned Meganiums on level 100. They rock!

    I would say yes. I had an Omastar, level 100, my favorite and began to trade from R/B to G/S and phfft. Gone. A glitch. I set up everything right, no G/S moves or Pokemon and still...gone. It was one of my best and I lost it. It's still a hard blow. So I do duplicate for back ups in case such things like this happen again. Same with items. Particularly ones in paucity.

    I also duplicated for my heavy hitters for R/S before I found out that stupid non trade back deal.

    But yeah, normally, it does rob the uniqueness but what happens when you lose it and thus all that hard work, then what do you do?

    Yes, I like duplicating and I don't mean cloning an army of dunsparces and owning red. Whenever I get a shiny pokemon I duplicate it twice, trade one to silver or gold (depending on wich one I'm playing), if the pokemon has moves that aren't compatible with R/B/Y I'll remove all those moves from one of the clones and trade it to blue. That way I always have two backups of my shiny pokemon.

    I should do that one day. O_o

    But yes, I do duplicate. Then I pick the Cloned Pok?mon, and change all of it's moves. It's much easier then catching a new one and train to level 100 just to test out a Moveset... -_-;

    Duplicating a pokemon while it's happy like Eevee that evolve through happiness, means you save a lot of time and money. You could easily make a whole army of Umbreons or Espeons for example. The trick is great but it really does spoil the fun slightly.

    It is cool. I mainly used it for duplicating items though. Like master balls. There's always several Pok?mon I want to catch and not enough master balls to do it with. I'm quite lazy xD So I'd duplicate stuff like that.
    I haven't done it lately though ._.

    I also use it a lot to clone items. Mainly TM's. How the hell are you supposed to get a decent competitive team on the cardridge if you have to play through the whole game each time you want a TM? And not to mention, that way you'd also have to be able to trade with another cartridge from the G/S era. I don't really clone the Pokemon though.
    If I need another, I usually think I'm better of breeding.

    It's ok. I usually did it after I was totally done with the game because there was nothing better to do. Never while I was trying to beat the game though. I liked using my real pok?mon for that.

    duplicating rulez u dont need to bother training other pokemons
