To Saffron City - Pokemon Firered

Hello everybody,

I'm new in here, and im from Denmark, so that may be the reason for my gramma. Well. I have this problem. I can't get to Saffron City. Some of my friends told me, to go to the Celadon Dept. Store and get something om the roof of the building. I bought the drink, but the guard still says the same. How can i pass him?

Hope somebody can help me.

It can be found on the first floor of the celadon mansion the Old lady beside meowth the bring the TEA to the guard
