You accused me of having a "fake cartirdge" and locked my thread. Why would you do that? im not understanding why youd lock a thread just because my cartridge is broke... Its from 2003, do you really expect a cartridge from 2003 or 2004 to actually funtion perfectly... And also i asked for a challenege and a terrible team? i really dont get it. just because you are a mod gives you no right to lock for no reasons. If you ban me or whatever because you are like 13 and just going through "that awkward stage" do it. Ill just make another account. dick.

Anyway, I'd move this to in-game team help, but their aim isn't to help you build a bad team. And this doesn't really have any more reason to stay open, I'm afraid. Just get a team of Magikarp.

She answered you and gave you the worst possible team you could have in roughly any Pokemon game that doesn't have Sunkern in it, though Sunkern's stats almost don't make it any worse than a team of Magikarps.

As for your game being fake. No Pokemon game should crash for any reason. If it does, then yes, its a fake cartridge made by some hacker to sell to kids for a quick buck. If its unstable enough to crash then its an obvious sign its fake.

I'd suggest trying to buy a newer one if you have a gaming store that sells older games like a Play N Trade or some other lesser known game trading stores. Just make sure its a legit copy before getting to into it.

Also you may have an actual game but who ever may have had it before you messed with the internal coding. It should never crash otherwise. So its a hacked or fake game.

You need to try calming down and stop jumping to unnecessary conclusions. My job revolves around video games, at least it used to. Yes if your game crashes then it was tampered with. In some way shape or form it was hacked. You don't need to get mad everytime someone tries to respond to you helpfully when it isn't what you want to hear.

You won't be able to fix the issue without going to someone to fix the coding near the end that forces the game to crash or getting a new copy. Even with dry batteries the older ones did not crash, they just would never retain save data, which isn't the same storage system used to save data on the GBA titles if I remember correctly. Crashing only occurs in hacked or tampered copies.

If you need to resort to telling us that we 'suck ass' then I don't think this needs to remain open. Xander's explained things pretty clearly, and Sydian's reason for closing your thread is explained well enough as well.

On the game crashing - it really is a common feature of fake games to crash when beating the game or in other instances (say trying to transfer to 4th gen games), along with save file wipes, etc. I have such a cartridge myself. They look close enough to the real thing but there's a few signs with some of them that they are fake, and no legit game has that sort of behaviour.
