So I'm listening to this song right now, and pretty much crying because Nintendo lied to me.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the changing of the cast at the end of each series, but it's just a little sad to listen to this and realise it could never be.

(And yes,I know most of the lyrics in the song seem to be geared towards Pikachu, who is of course still with Ash. However, there's that little clip towards the end with Misty and Brock, and it just . . .)
