Current favourite songs:
Godflesh - Suction: Only just listened to this album and I've now added Godflesh to the list of metal bands I actually enjoy (currently only 8 bands on there) the whole album (Streetcleaner) is fairly similar, but I prefer this song because the vocals are far better than the others because it's something other than just barely understandable yelling. A great closing song for the ablum.
DJ Shadow - Building Steam With a Grain of Salt: I've known of DJ Shadow for a while but the idea of "instrumental hip hop" didn't really appeal to me. I finally got round to listening to his debut album 'Endtroducing.....' and enjoyed it quite a lot. I enjoyed this song the most because it had some diversity as it included a piano (admittedly, just a repeated chord) and a choir chanting (again, it's repeated) rather than just the drum machine and turntables used on the other songs. But it's a nice concept, and It's good for background music.
