Touhou Mafia [Game Over]

A stage boss claims another victim...

So someone got hit with a spell with an unknown effect and didn't get pich~uned, Rumia visited someone, and a dark thing killed a fairy. And also Meiling did her job. It's a start at least.

In Touhou fairies are normal stage enemies that get killed in the hundreds by the protagonists. However they revive after being killed and are essentially immortal as long as the element of nature they represent still exists, so it's not all bad for them.

I bet it was the silencer power oh and just saying Lostelle is now my favorite GM go touhou!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh guys everyone post so that we can see who was silenced by Patchouli.
The writing girl is also probably Hyeda since she is writing she probably picked someone who is either an important fairy or a Youkai.

Yep I agree with this, as well as Hieda seeing something important.

Patchouli could have been casting the unknown spell as well, but yes everyone should post.
It seems Meiling was probably protecting someone in the mansion as she was more energetic?

So any thing to go on?
The phase post seems kind of ordinary, so I don't think there are any hints stuck in there.

Rumia is someone that intentionally wanted to fuck with candy though, so that's something to work off of. Kinda.

You fiends, how dare you kill me on N0 again ;-;

....even though you haven't seen the last of me I guess?

Rumia is someone that intentionally wanted to **** with candy though, so that's something to work off of. Kinda.

Not necessarily. There is no proof that Rumia visited Candy other than Candy claiming so. There is also no indication that Rumia does visit someone of their choice, or even anyone at all. Furthermore, even if they did visit Candy, there is no definitive proof that the target will be alerted of it.

But then again, I have no idea how the ability works other than that it doesn't do anything, nor do I know if Rumia is based off another role that works exactly like it.

Overall? I don't see any reason why someone would lie about it. But you know? Some food for thought and anything can happen.

Anyway, next off we can talk about Superjolt. Were they targeted at random or were they specifically targeted?

If you think they were targeted specifically, who would you think is most likely to want them dead off the bat?

Personally? I feel like it was a random attack. There is next to nothing to go off of, so I can't find any logical reason someone would have a reason to attack them outside of randomly selecting them.

Finally, we have that unknown attribute spell to take into consideration.

Unless I missed something, Kaneki stated off the bat that it was some type of silence attribute when there is no definitive proof of it. I find this a bit off, considering that their next post they mention it again but, in a term of "I bet it is" rather than them seemingly knowing on their previous post.

Anyway, I feel like the best way to proceed is just discuss things, anything that anyone thinks could be of importance. Someone will likely slip up somewhere and as we get those new leads, we'll progress.

Superjolt is a very good player, that's the reason he got N0 sometimes.
As for kaneki!! I really don't know
..

Personally I think Rumia did the bumpity bumpity with Candy

Rumia is based off of the fool role, who can visit one player every night.
the visit doesn't do anything in EM, but Lost could have very well added a twist to the role.
Like being able to send a mean note, Gif spams, etc.

ninjas everywhere. or more like me just not paying attention.

Rumia has the night bird ability which likely just is them going around being annoying to people. and since candy asked to be rumia in sign ups it was probably just to spite her. just like how the fool can visit people and bang on pots and pans and stuff but it doesnt really do anything.

Well, there's something I missed. Though, after reading the role again, they do have another unknown ability, which could have been used.

Last time I played EM was ages ago. I think I've only played 6 games in total, none of which had the Fool involved. So, forgive me on this.

Well look at the bright side, atleast we lost one third party role i guess

In my opinion it's actually really positive that it wasn't a human who died. Instead of being down 1 human, we are instead down one 3rd party, which puts us at a relative +2 majority compared to what'd happen if one of us were killed instead.

Any other death, unless it was a more powerful 3rd party death would have been less meaningful, even no death at all would have been more negative than our current situation.

I'm starting to like Umbra......^^

I doubt the spell Patchouli cast is the silence spell; it mentioned in the Day 1 post that she didn't know what it did, and cast it on a person to find out. It's possible, but if it were the silence spell I think we would have been told so in the post. Admittedly her spell repertoire sorta threw me off as I'm still used to the intricate pattern bullet hell spells everyone in the series uses. I need to think of this as a mafia game, not a Touhou game.

As for Rumia well... She's technically a man-eating youkai, but she's too dumb to really catch anyone. Her visiting people and acting silly is pretty much what she does besides her ability to create a field of darkness that not even she can see out of.

Well, I'm glad that you are thinking the same way I am.

There is no way that Patchouli wouldn't know what their Silence spell would do.

To back the hypothesis up, the "philosopher stone" is supposed to be a legendary substance that turns things like lead into gold. Now, we could apply that logic into magic, saying that it's an item to turn a lesser spell into a more useful one. But obviously when working with spells, there are so many ones that could be considered "useful" you cannot really guarantee it to one specific output. Hence Patchouli not know what their spell would do.

The Philosopher's Stone that Patchouli has is actually like some form of spell that uses the 5 elements that she masters: fire, water, wood, metal and earth. It could be that it randomizes 1 out of the 5 elements, hence why Patchouli doesn't know exactly what it does.

It's not some silly gold-changing stone just so you know. :v

also yes I did get bugged by Rumia do you spite me that much bruh

Well your version still supports mine, albeit in a different manner.

And, no I brought the Rumia thing up because I was uncertain of how the action works. I feel like a lot of EM inspired roles are in play here, and really I haven't played it much, I'm much more used to Town of Salem, which is different in a lot of mechanics.
