6th Gen Trading items from X/Y to ORAS

    Is there a way, other than the GTS? I know you can trade pokemon via pokebank, but is there any way to trade over items with two 3ds's? When I have them both on at the same time and have already added friend codes they still don't show up in each others friends. I'm sorry if this has already been answered but I can't find much on google and I looked around and didn't see the question, thank you!!
     
    Is the internet connected for both ds'? That's the only problem I can think of unless you don't have the PlayNav yet.

    Yep! And when my sister or her boyfriend were near me, their X/Y character didn't show up in my friends list either. :/ Am I missing something lol?
     
    You can not trade freely between the two games as of yet hopefully in the future x and y will have an update allowing it but that would have to implement mega stones and such pokebank is the easiest way i have so no items as of yet its literally impossible only because they cant have u send over the mega stones to xy when theyre not coded in nor could they be used.
    Edit sorry didnt mean to go off like that its certain items i believe that u are unable to trade by freely i meant everything ;)

    It IS possible to trade items from X and Y to OR/AS, though, and vice versa unless the items are OR/AS exclusive. This sounds more like some sort of connection problem, not compatibility.
     
    Do you have the 3DS FCs added to the each of the 3DS?
     
    Yes it's possible to trade items XY to OR/AS, I already transferred an Everstone and a Lucky Egg from one team to another (wanted them early). Agree with RedJ above, just probably your connection problems.
     
    I traded with my friend just yesterday while he was in Y and I was in Omega Ruby...
     
    Nevermind everyone, I was able to get them linked up today, not sure what the problem was before. Either way its working now, thanks for everyone reassuring me, or else I wouldn't have tried again. :) It took me forever to get some battle items in X recently and just wanted to switch them over to Sapphire. :)
