PKRS speeds up EV training, but since you don't EV train, it wouldn't be any different to you lol :)

EV Training isn't stupid.

Lets say we have two level 100 Torterras, ok?

One is properly EV trained in its good stats, while the other is trained a bunch of random EV's (the way we do it when we play through the games; we battle any monster that comes up vs. EV training in which we would only battle certain monsters).

Now the one that wasn't EV trained uses Earthquake, and gets the other Torterra to about 25% health.

Now the EV trained Torterra uses Earthquake, and what do you know? Your Torterra gets KO'ed.

So now you're just sitting there thinking "WTF, this is Torterra racism", but what really just happened is that the other fellow was properly trained.

So, in my opinion, even though it takes MUCH longer, EV training is worth it pretty much.
