For gen 2 and up, is there any good emulators that can trade between the games in a generation and trade them upwards to other generations on mobile from one device? Please if possible not anything complicated. Either iPhone or Android works because I still have my old android phone.

MelonDS should allow you to transfer from Gen 3 to Gen 4 on a single emulator instance, via Pal Park. If you can figure out a way to trade on your phone*, you should also be able to transfer from Gen 4 to Gen 5, and between Gen 1 and Gen 2. It is impossible to transfer from Gen 1 or 2 to Gen 3, 4, 5, or 6, and it is also impossible to use emulators to transfer to any 3DS or Switch game because Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Home are un-emulatable.

*I've only ever done it on PC, and I'm not familiar enough with phone emulation to tell if you can do it on a phone, or how.

    Ok thank you!

You could also try pkhex to transfer the pokemon from your save files manually to later gens. It is almost instantaneous but it does take out the fun in transferring them the normal way. You will need to connect your phone to PC however as I don't think there exists a mobile version of pkhex. You'll also have to find your .sav file which can be found in a saves folder depending on the emulator you're using. It must also specifically be your game's save file and not a save state. You then open pkhex with your save file (dragging it to the program should work) and then it asks what specific game your save file is from. You can then save the pokemon individually or open pkhex with another save file and drag your pokemon of choice from one game to the next.

Please note: gens 1 (Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow) and 2 (Gold, Silver, and Crystal) can only transfer to gens 7 (Sun/Moon & Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon). Gens 3 and 4 can trade up easily. I don't recommend transferring to a gen below as that causes problems. With pkhex you can also copy your pokemon data to keep them in their original games while still having them in later gens.
