[Tool] Trainer Editor help? Very new to this. (PGE, HTE & G3T)

    Hey everyone, I recently downloaded PGE, HTE and G3T for the sole purpose of editing the battles to give myself and my friends an interesting challenge. However, I have run across so, so many issues. PGE has worked kinda but only for emerald and even then the pokemon just bleed into other teams when I open up the trainer editor, I cant get any ROM to pull up properly on HTE and as for G3T I cant even figure out where to find a way to use it(RAR file). All I want is a decent trainer editor I can use, I also randomize some of my games but with or without that added im having no luck and im not extremely tech savvy so I could use anyone who could help me on this subject, thanks all.

    The problem isn't in the program, it's your ROM. It should be v1.0, and not v1.1. And if you just want to edit trainer battles, than use HTE.

    I downloaded several different roms and made sure most are v1.0, which editing software works with v1.0? All i'm guessing? Also im trying HTE right now and im having Microsoft .NET framework errors. I think im not booting it up properly or maybe even need some updates to get it to work. I go right into the folder and click the HTE application to start it up, if that helps. I wish I could explain better but im so new to all of this.
     
    Another note, in HTE I cant load up any file but I noticed there is a rom folder with certain letters "BPEE", I know that one is emerald. Am I supposed to be able to configure it somehow to read each rom I have? It gives an error for every rom I try.
