I saw what you're trying to say, but it's completely reaching. You're assuming I'm mafia because I received that info, but there's no other recruiter roles besides the mafia and a third party. And my claim is more believable than yours given it's at least backed up by GM-confirmation of receiving an item.

You're not revealing your role either because A) it's third party or mafia, B) you'd be lying with any other role and get counter-claimed.
 
Again, you seem to be trying to bury my point. So let me be frank in my train of thought.

You're mafia. You used the item on me and got information on my role, which indicated that I'm a role that could be a detriment to the mafia. So, rather than telling the truth about what you learned, you said that you learned that I'm a recruiter role because, as you said, neither of them are aligned with the town, which means you could get the town to kill me rather than have the mafia need to do it themselves. And, were I to role reveal, you could still try and have me killed, while also confirming exactly how I'm a detriment to the mafia, and to what extent.

You may have been given an item by the GM, but that doesn't mean you're telling the truth. In my opinion, it doesn't make your claim any more believable than any other.
 
Naku also got point but still I believe klippy is telling truth. If he is lying we can go behind him after we deal with Naku.

You refusing to role reveal just shows you're afraid to say who you are. There's plenty of town roles to protect you if you're really town, but I don't see why a GM would lie to me with an item I received.

I get it. You think my item doesn't do what I said it did, but that's basically an excuse to say I'm lying with absolutely NO proof to back it up with. It's your word versus mine, which at the very least is backed up by Daroach/Sir Slippy giving me an item.

. . . ? Claim what? That I think you're lying? Why would I claim that you're lying before you've said anything? Lol. You just really want to make me sound bad, don'tcha.

And if I'm one of the town roles that protects? I've made this point multiple times, but you're still trying to push it. Whether I reveal or not at this point doesn't matter; it's turned into a lose-lose scenario on my end. But if I don't reveal, I still have a chance to retain my role's usefulness for at least a phase or two.

And you're really relying on the "the GM gave me the thing so I MUST be telling the truth!" approach, which . . . is actually completely irrelevant if you look at it from the perspective of my theory.

I don't think you're a protective role, otherwise the info I received would've likely said "protective role", and not "recruiter role".

And I don't claim that I'm telling the truth solely because I received an item; I'm claiming I have more validity and truth to my claim because I have actual evidence that precedes my claim, whereas you have nothing.

If I'm wrong that you're a recruiter, I'll happily let the town attack me the following day. But I really don't think I'm wrong and I'd be quite annoyed if the info I got was somehow falsified. AND I'd even apologize to you in the afterlife.
 
And maybe that is what the info said, and you're simply claiming otherwise, as I've pointed out in every single one of my previous posts.

And the only "evidence" that precedes your claim is still "hEY lOoK i hAvE aN itEM!!"

The way I see it, neither of us has any truly solid evidence behind either of our claims.

And because of that, I'm okay with leaving the conversation here so that I can go get ready to head to sleep.
 
It only benefits you to leave the conversation for tomorrow or to use Johnny's plan. That gives you the opportunity to either A) recruit me tonight or B) kill me tonight.

I think Naku should be attacked today, and then tomorrow, if I'm wrong, I can be attacked.
 
Are you really so important that we have to pass up a day where we can potentially find 3 baddies?
Especially when you could very well be lying about what info you received?

The way I see it, I think Klippy is telling the truth about the item he got. Forcing a 1 for 1 is definitely not beneficial for the mafia, especially since each of their roles is useful.
Then again, it's stated at the phase post that this frog is kinda annoying and smiling, so I can see him lying. I'm leaning towards believing Klippy, but the frog not being honest could be a possibility.

I like Johnny's plan. Finding the four 3-attack targets is really important.

Going to bed. I'm willing to believe it could've been a lie, but it wasn't Sir Slippy directly telling me - it was an item. So I'm more inclined to believe it. Also keep in mind the Mafia recruiter has a 2 DMG attack. So that doesn't necessarily help us discover what Naku is. I'm more thinking he's Marx though. And knowing Naku, Nimsy was his N0 convert because that's how they always play with each other if there's the option for conversion. :)

BUT I will play along with Johnny's idea since it does help us discover attack values.
