trevenant team

Heyy guys!!!

I have played all the pokemon games since gen 1 so I'm thinking, hey let's start with competitive battle :D but I need some help to do a team :/ I want to have my trevenant on the team but I need 5 more pokemon so pls help a pal in need

Well, I suppose that you'd wanna start with Pokemon that work well with Trevenant type wise. Ones that cover its weaknesses, and ones whose weaknesses Trevenant covers. Mega Houndoom, for example resists Ghost, Dark, Ice, and Fire, all of which Trevenant is weak to, while Trevenant resists Water and Ground and is immune to Fighting for Houndoom. Houndoom also eliminates Grass types, which Trevenant struggles with a bit. You can then throw in something like Rotom-Wash or Gyarados to complete a water-fire-grass core.
