I need some help 'tricking' my computer into believing I never installed a demo. Which I had, indeed, installed. I bought a book called Game Programming For Teens that comes with a BlitzMax 30-day demo. I hadn't gotten to finish going through the book before my demo ended and I really don't want to the buy the program to finish the book and see exactly how much I like BlitzMax.

I was hoping someone knew how to change the registry files, or whatever needs to be changed, so I can reinstall the demo without it saying that I used the 30 days. I don't like blindly messing with key parts of my computer, so hopefully someone knows how.

    -Thanks

try running a registry cleaner like CCleaner and seeing if that clears up the spot in the registry where the trial timer said it ran out, otherwise your best bet is to try and run it on another computer, in a virtual machine or buying the game.

Well... I guess I'll either have to use my dad's computer, find a registry key, buy the program, or figure out how to delete registry files then.

I don't think CCleaner will get rid of it, but I can try it. ^.^
