Trogan Horse Virus

    I have a Trogan Horse Virus. Apprently my computer freezes after 10 minutes of being on and I hana Norton Anit-virus and it keeps pop up saying virus Trogan Horse. Unable to repair.

    I am not sure about this or what it is. So what can I do to fix this problem?
     
    did you try and quarantine the virus?
    that might help.
    also, if you can link to the symantec website from it when it pops up (it usually says it at the bottom of the 'cannot repair' box..
    and print the page before your ten minutes is up
    and then follow the instructions to remove it from there...
    try that ._. and see if it works

    AHHHHHHHHHH! -runs away- not that! o3o when I got that, i just got my computer with XP and PaintShop Pro7....now its all gone and i have windows2000.....and 4 diffrent virus protectors...(hugs Firewall) ^__^
     
    I use ClamWin and have never received the virus. Maybe re-installing Windows may help?
     
    Tch. Try goin' in Safe Mode an' start up the antivirus there for a full-system scan. ^_^
     
    When you start up your computer, press F8 (iirc) when it's loading Windows and select "Boot using Safe Mode" or a similar option. Run the anti-virus scan and try any option you can to delete or quarentine it.
     
    Burn a SuSE Linux install CD, and reformat and install Linux.. all I can say :P
     
    Uninstall Norton x.x; Use PC-Cillian. Much better! =D

    If you're stubborn though, find out what file it's in and delete it manually.
     
    If you can't delete it in normal boot mode, try booting in safe mode to delete it.
    and let Antivirus & ANti-Spyware program scan in safe mode too as said above.
    some problem can only be fixed in that mode since windows "uses" the file in normal boot mode so you can't delete it there most likely.
     
    Or try going to a website that has a free scan and virus deletion. Scan your computer and make sure it doesn't have too many files on it, more files, longer the scan. But I'm sure that'll delete the Trojan Horse Virus.
