I played the "old" UU like it was a bible. I loved it more than standard, as it was a tad more strategy based. With the merger, I started to ignore it. Finally it caught my eye, and I decided to make my first team for it. Therefore, this team will most likely suck. In that case, please rip this thread to shreds as you see fit (Minus trolling :P)

[PokeCommunity.com] Troll Shield Activated (Hopefully) (UU RMT)

    Uxie@Light Clay
    Impish Nature
    Levitate
    252 HP/180 Def/76 Spe

    Light Screen
    Reflect
    Stealth Rock
    U-Turn

Uxie is now replacing Mesprit here, as it is faster and has better defenses for what I'm trying to pull off. Dual-Screen helps a lot with my offensive team here, Stealth Rock is always a necessary move, and U-Turn is always great for that little damage from a switch. Deciding if putting Memento over U-Turn will be beneficial for my team, as only Mismagius really requires any setting up.

    Ursaring@Choice Band
    Adamant Nature
    Guts
    252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP

    Return
    Earthquake
    Fire Punch
    Crunch

CB Ursaring is one of the main power threats of this team, and it does a heck of a job ripping others to shreds. With Mesprit with Paralysis support, Return is used instead of Body Slam. Earthquake has awesome coverage, Fire Punch hits Grass, Ice, and Steel types fantastically, and Crunch is my best bet against Psychic and Ghost types. Overall, one heck of a sweeper.

    Mismagius@Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    Levitate
    220 Spe/180 SpA/108 HP

    Substitute
    Calm Mind
    Shadow Ball
    Hidden Power Fighting

SubCM Mismagius has the potential to take a team out by itself. With enough boosts, and perfect coverage, she can ever rip apart the best special walls out there. My only problem here is the fact that I never get much of a chance to utilize her, and most of the time recently she is just used for Fake Out bait, and then just dies later on.

    Shaymin@Leftovers
    Bold Nature
    Natural Cure
    252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe

    Aromatherapy
    Seed Flare
    Air Slash
    Rest

Status Absorber, Cleric, 2-in-1 deal right here. Shaymin does an EXCELLENT job at taking status, and when I mis-predict, I can heal other status on the spot via Aromatherapy on the switch. Rest for healing and then switching, Grass Knot for STAB, and Air Slash so I can actually have some sort of coverage.

    Hitmonlee@Life Orb
    Adamant Nature
    Limber
    252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP

    Close Combat
    Mach Punch
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake/Blaze Kick

My "back-up" physical sweeper. Usually can come in early to mid-game when Ursaring can't, and takes out at least one other Pokemon. Close Combat for powerful STAB, Mach Punch for a quick finish, and Stone Edge for those I can't hit via my fighting moves. I'm currently using Blaze Kick on him, because Fighting and Ground have such redudant coverage. Reccomendations there are appreciated.

[PokeCommunity.com] Troll Shield Activated (Hopefully) (UU RMT)

    Magmortar@Choice Scarf
    Modest Nature
    Flame Body
    252 SpA/252 Spe/4 HP

    Fire Blast
    Focus Blast
    Hidden Power Ice
    Thunderbolt

Revenge Killer Ahoy! Fire Blast for amazing STAB boost, Focus Blast and HP Ice for coverage, and Thunderbolt rids me of those pesky water types. I can usually predict a bulky ground and water type, therefore Focus Blasting them to smithereens in the face.

    Changes Made:
    Mesprit-->Uxie
Seed Flare over Grass Knot on Shaymin

    Possibilities:
Removing Shaymin for another status absorber/sweeper/wish passer

I don't know why you're using Mesprit instead of Uxie. Uxie is faster and has better defenses - all you're losing is Ice Beam, which isn't necessary at all. Actually, Reflect, Light screen, or even something like Trick on an Uxie lead would probably be more beneficial.

Also, for Shaymin...use Seed Flare. I know it doesn't fit in with the defensive theme that your set is trying to do, but Grass Knot is pretty crappy lol. I mean, Grass Knot isn't terrible or anything, but Seed Flare was always more useful for me. The Special Defense drop is always nice too. Honestly though, I think a Wish supporter (if there are any good ones in nUU) would be more useful when your Choice Scarf (aka your only defense) is SR weak and weather weak. I kind of question Shaymin's slot entirely...another sweeper, revenge killer, or even a different supporter would probably be more useful. Aromatherapy support isn't very useful on something that's trying to win a match in 15 turns.

I was actually thinking about Uxie too, but I wasn't too sure, I'll make the switch there for sure. I also do agree with Shaymin there, but I really need the status support, as pretty much nothing (Other than Ursaring who can really only afford to take Burn) can handle it :/ Maybe a Encore/Wish Clefable (I REFUSE TO USE CHANSEY)?

Hey, like the mismagius. I'm thinking of breeding one just like it, but I too am struggling to think of a poke that can open a door for her and give her the room to set up.
I also use a similar magmortar set as well. It seems we have similar tastes lol.

I would recommend this Clefable to take over Shaymin's position:

Clefable @ Toxic Orb / Flame Orb
    Magic Guard
    Adamant
    252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Spd
    ~ Protect
    ~ Facade
    ~ Meteor Mash
    ~ Softboiled / Fire Blast

Well, this is the best I could come up with, what with your persistance in not using chansey. You can use this as a lead as well where it's most effective, but if you switch it in do so before you meet the status pokemon on the other team. Protect to activate an orb of your choice and no other status can effect you. Then if a pokemon dealing out status arises just switch in clefable. The other moves are to take advantage of the already inflicted status and coverage/healing.

I hope this is helpful, but you really do need to consider chansey.

Burn Orb still lowers attack even with Magic Guard so use Toxic Orb.

You could use Wish in that last slot too.

252 HP / 152 Def / 100 Sp.D / 4 Spe @Calm lets you tank better on both sides of the attacking spectrum, although i prefer max sp.def, sup to you.

On Hitmonlee, Sucker Punch in the last slot imo.

Be careful of rain dance teams, since those kinda shred you. Especially junk like SD Qwilfish, Ludicolo etc and nothing really likes boosted water moves >.<

My bad. I actually didn't know that. Thanks for the correction.
