Troy - to see or not to see

    finally they've made a movie of the Iliad and the Odessy - it had to happen
    So is anyone goin to see it? I am almost a 100% sure i am goin - but when?
    My sister saw it - its supposed to be as good as LoTR RoTK, but i can't verify that.
    So what do u guys think?
     
    Hmm...well while I haven't seen it, I have heard it's supposed to have some big, epic battle scenes and if you're in to that sort of stuff it's likely a good movie to go to...I, for one, have always liked the story of the Trojan War so if you've read about it in mythology books and all that it'd be interesting to see it played out on the big screen in my opinion...but it could never be as good as the battle of the Fields of Pelennor unless hordes of soldiers get crushed by oliphaunts or oliphaunt-equivalants :P

    1. Orlando Bloom as Paris is a flop he has the acting ability of a wooden horse
    2. Helen isn't THAT good looking
    3. Odyssius gets like 3 scenes O WON THE WAR FOR THEM

    Ahem, *cough* Zure I like the actorz in it but that'z not the only reazon I'd like to zee it. I really love hiztorical/hiztorical fiction moviez. In thoze kindz of moviez they actully have to try to make a good movie, they can't juzt uze tough zlang or cool carz to make the movie zeem good. I don't really know much about the Trojan war though zo maybe I zhould ztudy up firzt 0.o
    I agree with you though, Kaga. The Pelannor Fieldz battle iz going to be a hard thing for other filmz to live up to ^_-

    I totally agree with u - The battle of the Pelennor feilds would be much better
    Paris is a totally disgusting wimp that u just want to kick so for all u Orlando Bloom fans beware - though i know alot of girls are totally blinded to everything when he's on the screen ^_^.

    I personally would be interested to see the effects.
     
    I wanna see it, the war at Troy sounds awesome! Besides, greek stuff amazes me ^.^

    It'z been out here for a couple weekz I belive. Now I'm juzt buzy trying to convince my mom to let me go zee it without her -,-;;
    And now they've uped zecurity at the theater zo zneaking in izn't an option @_@

    I'll probably have to wait untill it comez out on video ;_;

    It actually came out last week where I live, so I am going to watch it with my friends next week, and did I mention it looks awesome XD
     
    Play Age of Mythology and you will actually get to feel the burning of the Wall of Troy, XD.
    I'am going to watch it too! Someday.. Maybe tomorrow on Teacher Strike.
    ITs about swords and shields, wooden structures, and stone buildings. Smashing down
    marble constuctions and metal poles, man its just thinkable. I wonder what the Trojan horse looks like..
