Question: Turn off people's ugly text style

Hi, how do I disable people's custom text styles from showing up for me?
In other words, I want everything to look like the default text rather than big ugly fonts with wacky colours.

I think there used to be a way of doing it but I'm not sure if that's changed.

Go to your dashboard > edit options > scroll down and find "Post Formatting" which is under the "miscellaneous options" section.

I can confirm what Team Fail said since I can see colors in user posts with the option enabled.

Thought I'd mention I have that feature enabled and I don't think it's working, especially that I can see the italics added in the first post still.

I meant the default text that people set in their settings, so that all of their posts have the same text style.
I used the italics specifically for that post as opposed to having it set so that all of my posts are displayed like that, which may be why you still see it.
