There are certain types of acid that can actually dissolve the steel and iron alike, while there are metals that can withstand some acid. I believe they should be neutral to each other, rather than making Poison-type moves ineffective to Steel Pokémon.
Fairy-type moves should be ineffective or not effective against Grass-Pokémon. As most Fairies in folklore uses the power of nature and greens, otherwise for those who are connected other elementals.
