Typing Speed, Anyone?

I think I have a typing speed of 89 WPM.
I could type faster if numbers weren't so hard to reach. :P

I think he meant he typed pretty fast for someone that typed by poking the keys with their index finger. XD
 
Index finger...that means the second finger ya?

(If the one use to swear is 3rd)
 
I can do about?fifty WPM, but I make a lot of typos and am very unconfident, so it ends up being a lot slower. Typing, say, posts for instance makes me really nervous if I try to touch-type. So for PC I just use?quite a few fingers in the fastest ?incorrect? typing I can do, which turns out to be around 30~40 WPM I think. o.o;
 
I'm 76WPM after Keyboarding I, and now that I'm going to take Keyboarding II, it might make my typing speed go up.
 
Wow, I don't see how people get much higher than 50 WPM. If I try to go too fast, I end up making millions of typos, and everything. Heh, maybe I should take a typing class or something, I have nothing better to do anyways.
 
I really need to learn to type though, if I ever _did_ program, it?d be meticulous to do so without being a touch-typist. Maybe I?ll overdose on typing lessons this summer?

I know how fast I type because I had computer class n the summer to practice. Last summer it was only around 76 WPM. Now it's 84 WPM.

Lol i dont know the names of the fingers o_0 i use the 2nd finger- the one next to the thumb- lol
 
the fastest typing speed i ever got was 25 WPM
 
The fastest I typed was 109 WPM (the words are short and easy...so yeah...or maybe that stupid thing was glitched...)
Average Speed is around 60-70
Slowest I can type is around 40-50 WPM...

Yeah....I mean there were HUMUNGOUS words like constitution there.
I had only 57 WPM in that. Those words are above average length.
And I had a jammed finger...uh yeah...:paranoid: XD
 
my average typing speedis about 40-50 wpm...I don't use the homerow method at all. I use the look at press method. I've gotten fast at it cuz I know where all the letters are by heart now.
