What is your thoughts on Typhlosion Prime and Ursaring Prime in the new rotation? Here's the current deck list I am using and it's done really well in play testing:

    Ursaring Prime 3-3
    Typhlosion Prime 3-1-3
    Ninetails 2-2
    Cleffa

    Pokemon Collector 3
    Professor Oak's New Theory 2
    Professor Elm's Training Method 2
    Twins 2
    Engineer's Adjustment 2
    Bebe's Search 2

    Rare Candy 2
    Pokemon Catcher 2
    Junk Arm 3
    Energy Retrieval 2

    Fire Energy 12
    Rainbow Energy 2
    Double Colorless Energy 4

Ursaring Prime's HP is too low to be depending on damage from Afterburner, since Typhlosion Prme is a Stage 2 that would take longer to set up than Ursaring, and 120 damage for four energy, even if you're using some DCE, is way too inefficient for the current format, especially because Yanmega 2HKOs Ursaring.

I suggest ditching the Energy Retrieval and putting in Defender and Plus Power instead, and Bebe's Search is no longer legal in the new format. Use Pokemon Communication instead.

Thanks for the advice! TyRing is just for casual play. As for tournament play, I'm gunna be playing Reshiplosion. 'a Hahn' and 'Daniel Middleton' have nice lists and tips on 6prizes.

It should be fine for casual play, yeah. Unless people at your league play more seriously.

I like Reshiphlosion, myself (for me, it was just a matter of getting 4 Reshi's, since I've had enough Ninetales and Typhlosion since May 2010's Battle Road tournaments), but I do think you should be careful about "netdecking" any lists from popular sites like SixPrizes, since it loses your personal flavor to it and it's that particular mix that opponents will be testing the most against.

Ursaring isn't bad for casual play, but he suffers a huge blow from every metagame deck in some way. If you ran in a major tournament you wouldn't make it past the big boys at this point.

Reshiram variants: a Reshi deck running Emboar or DCE will come back hard with an insta-kill on Ursaring and really anything else that isn't prepared to do perform a killing blow on Reshiram.

DonChamp variants: Ursaring cannot OHKO Donphan or Machamp due to Donphan's poke-body and Machamp's high HP. Inversely, he can easily be OHKO'd by Donphan's 1 energy attack and either or Machamp's attacks

Gengar variants: Gengar's resistance to Colorless will put Ursaring's strongest attack at 100 damage, leaving it 30 HP shy of a KO. Also Gengar's free retreat and heavy use of cards such as seeker will render most of these attacks null since you'll be facing an army of Gengar stalling for a lost world finish.

Yanmega variants: Yanmega has diverse and usually, due to the deck structure, free attacks, coupled with its free retreat, can be a pain for Ursaring. Its free attacks leave free space for any other type of pokemon to be used, so its backup could very well be something like Donphan.

    Also, here's 2 scenarios:

A: You attach an energy first turn, get hit, then attach the DCE and attack
    or
B: You use Typhlosion's afterburner to pick up 1 energy and attach it to your Ursaring, giving it 10 damage, and then attach a DCE and attack.

Rainbow Energy is a good thought, but it isn't really worth running unless you multitype, so:

    -2 Bebe's search, +2 Pokemon Communications(For tourney legal reasons)
-2 Energy Retrievals and -2 Rainbow Energies, +up to 4 in any combination of Pluspower, Pokemon Catcher or Reshiram.
