This is just an idea that sprung in my head a few minutes ago.
Some of the strongest pokemon in the game can be physical sweepers, but don't really have much without their attack. Intimidate is the easiest way to instantly drop the attack stat to... 66% of its normal power. U-Turn has also been a fun move to use, switching out against the foe unexpectedly and causing damage? That's a good deal. However, let's say the opponent has a Garchomp with Earthquake... That doesn't look too good to your Infernape. U-Turn out of the there (let's just say you're faster) to a Staraptor. Not only do you avoid the Earthquake, but their attack stat is decreased.
The team can't do much to special sweepers, but you know... There's a Blissey in your team to take those hits.
I need your all's criticism; Would a U-Turn team with a couple of Intimidators (Arcanine, Staraptor, Gyarados), with a couple U-Turners (Ambipom, Staraptor), and lastly, maybe 1 or even 2 special sponges, would that make an effective team?
The idea of it seems alright, but it's reliant on speed. Therefore, a really quick pokemon can put it down by chance.
